Great location, comfortable beds (the rooms are a little tight), friendly staff, and great breakfast. My only complaint is the shower. The glass divider between the shower and the rest of the bathroom was not stationary and there's a gap between the plexiglass and tub, which resulted in a lot of water on the floor. Otherwise, great hotel and location.

I'm SO glad I chose this hotel. I loved the water view from my small but clean room. The included breakfast on the top floor was very robust and the views were fantastic. I lucked into free live music in the Sky lounge one night because of a music festival. It was awesome!

We had a rather small room. Roomservice is very accurate. Breakfast selection and view from the top restaurant great. Wellness nice, but expensive, especially if you just want to go for an hour...

Stayed 4 nights. Excellent location for the shops and bars. Has a roof top bar, lovely sea front views. Note they don't do meals only breakfast which has a good selection. Rooms not a bad size, the bathroom is a wet room so a bit awkward when getting a shower trying to keep most of it dry. No real storage in the room so that was a bit awkward living out of the suitcases. Staff very helpful and polite. The whole of Reykjavik had a power cut while we were there, they have stairs but only used for emergencies so was a bit disconcerting. It also has a spa in the basement think it was £20 to use.

Bring earplugs. Can hear everything on the street. Had a couple sleepless nights. But the location was great and the bed and room were as expected. Breakfast was good and the happy hour and views from the top floor are the best! Staff were pleasant and helpful. Just say no to Room 109, with a housekeeping closet next door plus the lobby bathroom...lots of door slamming, but they allowed us to move. Would stay again with earplugs and also an upgrade to a harbor/water view room.
