This is the place to stay in the city best hotel experience ever. The staff are so friendly, warm and welcoming. The room was lovely and comfortable and very clean the view from our window was breathtaking. The breakfast was lovely and fresh plenty of options. The evening bar was lovely, warm and inviting with staff happy to be of service with a great atmosphere. This hotel is a brilliant place to stay and I recommend it to everyone.

I had a pleasant stay here. The receptionist’s were always warm & welcoming and very approachable. They excelled in attentiveness and warmness. The breakfast was continental and always fresh. I will add that the coffee was not very tasteful. Overall experience was really good. The hotel was immaculately clean throughout. Such a memorable experience. Thank you. I’ve included some photos of the spectacular views from the hotel bedroom too.

From the moment we entered this very nice hotel, it was the connection with the Receptionists that created a feeling of 'welcome' and 'we're here to help'. We almost felt like we were visiting relatives, they were SO pleasant and helpful. I would say that many other guests felt the same, because there was a nice 'vibe' to the place. Receptionists were VERY knowledgeable and There is a nice little 'office' where you can go online. You can also buy postcards, write your post cards, buy a stamp at reception - and even post them in an official Iceland Post post box. One night, we bought a delicious cocoa from the bar, and really could not have asked for a more pleasant server. The design of this building is excellent. Our room was quite close to the elevator, but we heard NOTHING from the noise of the elevator. Our room was spotless, comfy, well thought out, and a pleasure to be in. Breakfast here was OUTSTANDING. I would definitely be more than happy to stay there again.

Small but clean, well cared room including water cooker etc.; extremely friendly, helpful staff, they managed all our activity bookings and transfers instantly and reliably; breakfast was good but with a bit limited choice that did (nearly) not change over the seven days that we spent there, nice view over the city, bus connection closeby that brings you to Reykjavik downtown every few minutes if you do not want to walk.
