Awful experience. We had a one day stay booked. The day of our stay we got notified that their rooms were full and we were being moved to a different hotel. Not a big issue! But when we arrived at our scheduled check in at night, the lobby was completely empty. We called every number we had access to, both for the old hotel and new. Nothing. No way to get in, as we never received a confirmation code. We followed up with the owner and sent records of all the calls we made along with the emails we sent showing that we never got a confirmation. They ghosted, and we never got a refund. Ended up crashing on a friend's couch

More of a hostel than a hotel. No staff on the premises after lunch and doors locked after 6pm (you have an access code to get in). It has potential to be a really good hotel but at the price they are charging for the service you're getting it's not worth it. 4 of the 5 mornings we had luke warm coffee and stake pastries. One evening the fire alarm went off and there were no staff on site, after 15mins of us standing out in the cold, someone turned up in a car to turn the alarm off. No options of food or drink outside of the breakfast "buffet". Its only a 20min walk to the city and there are resturants 5mins away but my advice, spend the extra few quid on a hotel closer to the city with 24h security and an actual hotel service provided.

The whole self check-in system was super interesting and the apartments are super equipped. It's not so far from city center and there are stores and supermarket nearby. My suggestion for the room numbers is to have them more prominant in the doors, since you can almost nos see a tiny piece of paper and i tried to open someone's door instead of the emergency stairs 😅

Stayed here as part of an Airbnb. The place gave us some red flags so when I got to the room to check in, I searched around. It wasn't long before I spotted a hidden camera in the ceiling looking right at the bed. Air BNB didn't do anything to help, and wouldn't even give us a refund. I would recommend NOT staying here. Plenty of other hotels and Airbnb in the area.

DO NOT BOOK HERE!! Firstly, our room was filthy. The floors were covered in dirt and past guests things. Worst location in Reykjavik! No block out blinds (the sun doesn’t set in summer) so the room was very bright all night and also boiling hot- no aircon. We only stayed here because they moved us from their other hotel to here. I tried contacting the hotel multiple times before our arrival date with no reply. We were originally booked at their other hotel. When we arrived at that hotel, we shad no check in code or replies. Finally they answered the phone and told us we couldn’t stay.. after we already arrived at the hotel. No reason was given. (Multiple other reviews state this happens to them also!) They moved us to this hotel- they told us it was 5 minutes away.. it was not. It was in a horrible location, near nothing, in an industrial area and very far from the town. As compensation they gave us “free breakfast” which was just stale bread and instant coffee. When trying to check out, it stated I had a $600 bill, even though we had already paid. Them not replying/answering and changing people to another hotel has happened to so many people, definitely book somewhere else (and also do not book 105 A townhouse hotel either, their other hotel)
