Absolutely loved this hotel. The location is just perfect. The service staff were extremely friendly and professional. Our room was surprisingly large, bigger than I expected, and perfectly fine. It was clean. Yes, the styling might be a little bit dated, but it was clean and spacious so we didn't care. Breakfast was simple but good. And the lobby and decor are small but extremely nice. Get a table by the window for breakfast and you can people watch while you have your coffee. Next time we plan to stay in Chelsea we will certainly be checking here before anywhere else.

The rooms are quite big. They might look dated but they r really practical. The reception is helpful and if possible they allow late check-out which can be very convenient for people who fly later in the day.

Don’t get me wrong it’s the best of elegant 5 star hotels. But the issue is the rooms are small, location is far away from Times Square and at close to $35X.xxx a night; I would rather pay less and be close to Times Square. Too expensive and not a lot of amenities closer to Times Square.

Not knowing what to expect as we hadn't heard of this hotel, we were very pleasantly surprised by every aspect of our stay. We got in very very early after a full night of travelling and little sleep, and found that our room was already ready for us to get settled in. Every single staff member, from welcoming us that first morning to storing and picking up our luggage on our last day, was friendly, helpful, and welcoming. The breakfast bagels and muffins were fresh every day and delicious, and everything including the rooms and bathrooms were extremely clean and well kept. We loved Chelsea and as we love walking we enjoyed how close it was to many of the attractions that were on our list, as well as to trendy bars. Will definitely keep it in mind next time we visit NYC!
