Room is very dated and old, hot spring tub is dirty and mouldy. Staff service is basic. Walls are also very thin and hear next door. Finally to cap it all off there's no in room WiFi. Public hot spring is basic but usable. However my skin was itchy after using the hotspring. Shower and change rooms are also very old and dated like the hotel itself. Location itself is about a 15 mim walk from Xinbeitou station. Do keep in mind it is an uphill walk. Hotel does offer an hourly shuttle from beitou station that leaves at 10 past every hour. Overall we paid about 80usd or 2400NTD a night. Neither cheap nor expensive. If staying in this area I'd recommend you pay more for a nice hotel.

Don’t be deceive by the photos you seeing. It is one of the oldest hence expect much older hotel room and design. Only thing deserve star is that roof top public bath. You could get better rooms with similar rate you are seeing on booking/agoda.

I’ve got some sale last minute offer for 2800NTD/ night. Overall the the hotel was nicer than on pictures, public hot springs on a the roof were amazing (also a tip I go in a week because I got lucky and nobody was there). Breakfast basic but good, they deliver it to your room. The only bad thing is the sound isolation was not the best, so it was pretty loud during the night, you can hear other people and water running trough pipes.
