The location was nice, so was the 17th century salon where breakfast was served (plenty of options to choose from). However, walls on our room needed a new coat of paint. Wardrobe door was creaking super loud each time we opened it - I'm sure people in the room above us knew when we are looking for our coats. Those are small things, and yet unacceptable for a 4-star hotel.

Great experience at this hotel. It's in the centre of the old town and although this could be noisy it really had the atmosphere that we were looking for. Friendly reception staff - multi lingual who were so very helpful at all times. Breakfast good and again the staff were welcoming and helpful. Loved the history of the place and especially the large ballroom where breakfast was served. I now know a lot more about Presepio than when I first came to Napoli - thanks to the knowledgeable male reception staff member.

Don't let first impressions of the neighbourhood disappoint you. Lots of graffiti but the hotel is in a great location for sights, shopping and of course restaurants. 500 year old building with rooms and halls sort of old fashion. But you have to see the breakfast room! Absolutely beautiful! The staff were very helpful and professional. We were quoted 36 Euros to taxi to the airport but were charged just 26 Euros.

Good , quiet location. Friendly, helpful staff throughout the hotel. Room was a decent size, shower worked well. Breakfast was good and as expected - excellent selection of pastries, a few cold meats / cheese, small hot food area, and the ability to get a really good doppio / double espresso was great. Breakfast room is lovely and becomes the bar in the evening if you fancy getting a cocktail mixed by evening server Antonio, before going out for a meal.
