On the first day, the water pressure in the washstand was very weak. I requested repairs for this but no action was taken. A few days later, I asked that to the cleaning staff, and then she called the staff in charge and repair it. I am very interested in the environment. So, I hang on 'do not diturb' for 3~4 days a week, but in that days, my cloth did not come back from your laundry service. But that wasn't the case when I was staying on a different floor just a month ago. I asked the front desk and they said the protocols are different for each floor. On days where the 'do not disturb' sign is posted, 'you have to ask cloth at the front desk. I can't believe it. Different protocols for each floor in the same hotel? I am told to accept it. The coffee and cups in the room were not filled. I tried talking to the front desk, but they said they can't take action because the employee is off work. As a result, I have never received satisfactory service from the front desk. Isn’t the front desk a channel for customer service? Do I have to go to the laundry person and the room supplies person to ask my request? Is it your official position that the protocols are different for each floor? There was not a single apology for the various complaints, just a message to accept them all. Is it normal for customers to have to adapt to the hotel’s circumstances? Is it normal for hotels to provide different services on each floor? I hope that you will provide standardized services that are consistent with Hilton's reputation. Additionally, I ask that the front desk staff put themselves in the customer's stands and make an effort to resolve the customer's difficulties.

Unfortunately a bit of a mix. I spent 9 days there and generally the staff was nice and friendly but there were exceptions. The lady at reception didn't speak a word with me when my card wasn't working one day and just looked at me, waited for me to say the room number, activated the card and gave it back, no word. Almost no vegetarian food for room service available, I needed a proper meal and they mentioned a salad. I then ordered a tomato soup with a side of rice and it came without rice without telling me its not available or offering an alternative. They didn't even have rice or fries and were very unhelpful. The girl at breakfast was very nice and knew after a few days that I wanted a hot chocolate, the room was always clean and the location is great. I wish there was more consistent nice staff, there were a few other occasions which were below expectation.

My stay at the DoubleTree Parque hotel in Bogota left a lot to be desired. As someone who's stayed at DoubleTree locations all over, this one just didn't cut it. We had plumbing issues – the shower spouted yellow water and took ages to warm up. The breakfast was a letdown too, just not what you'd expect from DoubleTree. The executive lounge was closed, and the pool shut early. To top it off no drinking water was provided in the room. Would not recommend.

Based on the reviews, we were really expecting a better stay. The main problems of this hotel or at least the room they gave us on the 5th floor are that the walls are paper thin. You can hear every conversation your neighboring rooms have, which is quite disturbing at 1 am!!! You can also hear the people walking in the rooms above. Also, our room faces an office, which is less than a few meters/15 feet away. So we can never open the curtains. The reception staff are not too helpful and do not speak English well. The young receptionist in the morning was also very impolite and had zero understanding of customer service. Housekeeping is also not that great. I was taking a nap one afternoon and had the do not disturb sign up; they came and knocked multiple time, until I woke up! As for location, if you are in Bogota to see the tourist attractions, this hotel is about 35 to 40 mins of taxi ride away from La Calendaria. Overall, as a gold hilton member, I do not recommend this hotel. The quality of their room, staff, and service is less than any other hilton stay we have experienced.
