Such a wonderful hotel located in the center of town. The staff was friendly and super helpful. The rooms were small but very clean and had everything you might need. There is also a great breakfast that makes starting your day easy and yummy. Absolutely stay here.

Apple crumble for breakfast. What else is there to say ;-) we enjoyed very unique room designs, cozy beds and a nice sauna area. Friendly staff and a bar and bakery in the same building made our stay quite pleasurable!

I have stayed at Hotel Exeter three separate occasions, and was impressed each and every time with the awesome amenities, great location, but most of all, excellent and personable service! The staff are really friendly, and go above and beyond to ensure your stay is exactly what you need. I stayed in three different room categories, and each were well-designed, comfortable and functional. The bathrooms are a treat, the bedding is luxurious. The breakfast buffet cannot be beat! The location is perfect for exploring Reykjavik, close to the shops, restaurants and galleries downtown, as well as being close to local pools, the marina, and public transportation to get you elsewhere in the city. I would 10/10 recommend staying here if you are staying in Reykjavik. I hope to stay with Hotel Exeter in the future whenever I get the chance!

This hotel is amazing! For me I think the most amazing part was the excellent customer service. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and kind. The beds are super comfortable. The location was good as all areas were walkable from the hotel and for tours/buses the pick up area was directly across the street. The price was slightly higher than similar hotels but since the room included breakfast I think it works out to be a better deal in the end. The breakfast included was amazing with lots of selection and healthy options. I will definitely be returning here again.
