Extended Stay America Suites Orlando Theme Parks Vineland Rd

This is your no B.S. Review. Not ai generated... Not exaggerated either. We stayed at the extended stay america orlando 5610 Vineland Rd hotel in the 2 fullbed plus sofa bed "deluxe suite". 1. If you're considering this hotel it's probably for two reasons: to save money and be close to the universal Orlando Theme Parks. It's a 25-30min walk from hotel to the theme parks 2. This hotel gets 4 things right (mostly). A. Price, although in my honest opinion I still think I overpaid. B. Location, close to theme parks. C. Free WiFi, free breakfast (granola bars, oatmeal and muffins), D. Amneties (dishwasher, fridge, microwave, oven) free tv cable (limited selection of channels but still... Free...) 3. You will see it in other reviews. There are definitely roaches (small insects) in the room. At least our "deluxe suite" on the first floor had them. I killed a total of 8 roaches during our 7 day stay. I stayed in worst "rooms" when I lived in Africa so I didn't complain to the front desk, I knew what I was getting into prior to booking. That being said... This is NOT africa... This is the United States of America, a hotel worthy of the name SHOULD NEVER have insects in the room. This is why this hotel should be considered a "motel ++". If you don't mind the insects, then this hotel might be okay for you. I should mention we had no insects in our beds thank God. 4. Two of 3 bed mattresses in our room were in a pityful state. The sofa bed mattress was utterly pityful. Half squished and clearly overused. They should replace it. One of the double bed mattresses had half of it crushed in too, meaning two people couldn't sleep comfortably in it. We put our son in it and my wife and I used the other bed which luckily was ok. 5. What you read in the other reviews about "weird people living in the hotel" is true! That being said... Again you're booking here to save money... So to be expected somewhat... None of the other residents caused us any trouble though. One time my whole family witnessed a man living here walking his dog in the hotel hallways. His dog proceeded to urinate on the hallway carpet... Maybe it's a cultural difference, but where I come from dogs are taken outside to urinate... They don't urinate inside the hotels LOL. Again, accepted if as part of the package... Needless to say none of us were walking those hallways without our shoes on from that moment on lol. It's almost surreal. 6. How's the staff you might ask? Mostly decent I'd say. One of them felt less competent (the evening and night staff). Your main source of good customer service will be the staff that works day shifts. 7. Our room DIDN'T have a hairdryer. We had to ask the front desk. Our room DIDN'T have a SAFE! My understanding is NONE of the rooms do! To me that's a MUST have in every hotel worthy of the name... Didn't feel safe leaving any valuable items in the room because of this. Carried everything valuable with us everyday at the parks to avoid robbery since there was no safe in the room. Was it manageable? Yes... Again, booked here to save money. BUT after our experience here I can tell you I wish I had paid 25% less at least. The state of those mattresses is inexcusable, and the presence of insects and the general atmosphere of this hotel warrants 25% less. We paid about 89$/night for our room... Definitely much cheaper than the theme parks hotels but still. Wish I had paid more like 60$ (for the same room) per night 8. Remember the hairdryer? The next time we needed something it was clean towels, had to go get it ourselves at the front desk... They didn't bother to bring it to the room... Same thing for clean towels a couple days later... Was that a deal breaker? No we booked here to save money... BUT if this hotel wants to score higher reviews it would do well to go the extra mile in terms of customer service. 9. The free WiFi speed is decent, but the WiFi cuts out completly every 15-20 mins HUGE problem if you want to stream movies At 25% less in price I'd recommend it because I'd say the savings warrant living with the inconveniences

The staff is eager to assist with warm welcoming smiles and a helping hand .. One day I walked through the front entrance and as I was passing the front counter the women behind the counter looked up at my direction and said welcome home which made coming home worth wild. Thank you Extended Stay Vineland theme park location for making the experience amazing .. Great Job 👍
