Tip top best that Miami has to offer. Second to none. Your breath will be taken away as soon as you enter the grand lobby. It's simply beautiful. Eye candy for your eyes. Everything about the place is awesome.

We were not guests, we are locals, and 20 of us went to celebrate a birthday party at the Hotel. We had a lovely dinner, and the show downstairs was fabulous. BUT- They got us coming and going…once the show was over we got a bill- for $8.00 for what? The water they served us as we were seated. We didn’t ask for it, but figured that’s what most venues offer, for free- WATER! Not there. What a stupid way to diminish their image, by nickel and dimming the guests like that. Pity! Not to mention that a drink cost $57.00 with a 27% tip already added in. They gave you no choice. So from a lovely evening, it turned out we realize we were in a TOURIST TRAP.

The artwork at this hotel is the most creative and imaginative that I have seen, and made my stay exceptional. It's like being in a museum. The room had a beautiful view over the ocean, and the furniture in the main room of the suite was beautiful. For the exceptional atmosphere I rated the hotel 5 stars There are a couple of ways the hotel could improve. First, the rooms are getting a bit old - the floors could use refinishing, and the tiles regrouting. I think the bedroom was missing a piece of furniture - besides the bed, two side tables and a chair it didn't have any. Practically, that means there's nowhere to put a speaker. Room service was a bit slow, with dishes left until the mid afternoon. "Over-medium" eggs came out relatively uncooked. These are little things, but for a hotel where you will pay through the nose, details matter.

My husband and I recently celebrated our 1 year anniversary by staying at the Faena hotel. While the hotel and the staff were absolutely amazing, the guests at the hotel were complete barbarians. Rude, demanding, entitled animals. Nobody had any common decency. Just for example: A man demanded the staff move another couple’s belongings off of a chair by the pool so that he and his wife could sit where he wanted to sit. Seriously?? The staff at Faena have my total respect for putting up with these jokers on a daily basis. I don’t know how they do it. Other than that, the room was always impeccably clean and tastefully decorated, the staff was very helpful and always had our car brought around in a timely fashion, and everyone was very friendly. Thank you for making our stay pleasant.
