We stayed at Fauno Urban for one night in Rome and loved it! Modern, clean, spacious, affordable rooms in a beautiful open garden/courtyard space walking distance from the Colosseum and many other landmarks in Rome. The buffet breakfast was also fantastic and most the staff were all friendly and helpful. I am giving 4 stars because they list their check-in time as 12pm (which is one of the reasons we booked this hotel, knowing our flight landed in the morning) but when we arrived we were informed that check-in was not until 2pm, so we had to wait, and they refused to compensate us for the inconvenience in anyway.

This place was awesome. The staff were friendly, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was perfect for me (close to the FAO HQ and walking distance to sites like the Coliseum, Pantheon, Vatican, and more). I highly recommend this place to stay when in Rome. Ciao

For us, this was an ideal launching off point for our visit to Rome. Everything we wanted to see in Testaccio and Trastevere was about a twenty minute walk or five minute cab ride. The grounds and the pool are so well manicured. For a small, boutique, design hotel.. this place punches way above its weight. Our room was extremely spacious, well designed and furnished, with a balcony overlooking the pool. Breakfast was a standout, great hours and great selection for such a small hotel. They even have their own bar! Finally, special appreciation for the front desk staff. They were so kind and helpful. Our air conditioning wasn’t working (on a 94’ Fahrenheit day!) and the night desk clerk actually replaced the filters for our room while we were at dinner. Great service!

Not to be missed! Just spent 2 nights there with my daughter. An oasis in the middle of Rome. Quiet and serene. It was so peaceful. The rooms are a good size and the bathrooms are nice. The breakfast buffet was so so good. We came about it by accident since no one told us it was offered. But it was good! We tried to order food to the room one night but we couldn't get anyone on the phone. I would definitely recommend this resort!!!!
