Probably one of the best Four Seasons stays I’ve ever had! It’s not very “modern” however it has such charm and feel of luxury. The rooms are very elegant. The staff is what made it such a beautiful experience. So attentive… so genuine and so caring! The fitness center is state of the art. The restaurant food is very tasty! Mix of local and French cuisine. But the experience was truly amazing because of our incredible waiter, Josh. He was really what made our experience so memorable. Great cocktails. Valet service is easy. The vault and coffee shop is brilliant! The one man who served us coffee every morning at the coffee shop was very amusing! Cannot remember his name.

We love staying here! 1st class service, extremely kid friendly, great location, who doesn't love an indoor pool in Jan?! Thank you for taking care of our family, my girls will never forget the robes, or cookies!:)

We have been coming to the Four Seasons Boston around this time of year for several years in a row now, and this year, while the appearance was different (due to the recent lobby/entrance/restaurant renovation, which was gorgeous by the way!), we had the same topnotch service we have come to expect each year! From the warm personal welcoming by the doormen and concierge staff (where myself and both my children were addressed by name) to every personal and thoughtful gesture thereafter. This hotel has always gone above and beyond to create special memories for children and families. This year, a special toy closet behind the front desk, opened with a special gold key, greets the children on check-in. Additionally, 2 child-size robes with child-size slippers were waiting for us in the room, along with special yummy treats to celebrate my daughter's birthday. We even received a special delivery of super warm hats/gloves, which my children refused to take off because they were so warm and comfy! Honestly, I could go on and on with examples of the thoughtful touches and the exceptional service! I would certainly recommend this hotel to any one looking for a special holiday experience!

My family and I came to Boston to go to our favorite hotel bars to have a drink before Christmas. We always used to enjoy staying at the Four Seasons over the years. When we arrived at the restaurant to have a drink at the bar, we were told (quite rudely) by the hostess that we were not welcome to have a drink at the bar because we weren’t staying at the hotel. We had just come from The Park Plaza hotel and they were both welcoming and open to us sitting at the bar for a drink. I was extremely disappointed with the abrasiveness of the hostess and I can say with confidence that I will be not returning to what used to be one of my favorite hotels.

This is a beautiful property with elegant rooms and really excellent service. A couple of things are disappointing: 1) lack of food options 2) not enough security, there were strangers bathing in the restrooms on the first floor 3) the room smelled moldy, I think it is the old wet carpet 4) no en-suite coffee machine in room Given the price, I’m not sure it’s worth a repeat visit. It doesn’t live up to a five star reputation. A shame given the excellent location.
