Though a little dated I would totally recommend this hotel. Nice clean rooms, we had a large shower and a bathtub plenty of hot water. Lovely breakfast with good selection available. Very Helpful and friendly staff. Brilliant location directly opposite the main entrance to the Central train station and just a short walk to the central bus station.

Room was clean and workable. Only feather pillows available, no hypoallergenic. Even with radiator off room was still hot. Kept windows open. Bathtub and shower very slick. Needs bathmat for safety. No English subtitle tv. Breakfasts were good, staff friendly.

Very well located right opposite Hamburg Hbf Hotel itself was old which showed in the rooms. Bathroom was big (we had a family room) but just felt very dated & the room was sparse & in need of a refurbishment. Also the insulation wasn’t as good as you could hear the other rooms walking or lowering toilet seat / and water dripping. Breakfast was adequate. All in all good for a night’s rest

We have never had such a bad experience in any hotel. The behavior of the hotel reception was very, very rude because the lady in charge of cleaning the hotel opened the door without knocking and entered the room and an hour later, while my wife had come from the bathroom and was without clothes, this time a man from the hotel staff. He opened the door without knocking. We were very shocked and angry about this incident, and when we told the matter to the hotel reception, he laughed and said in a mocking tone that this is a normal occurrence and if we have a problem, he will cancel our reservation without refund and disrespectfully. He showed us the exit door. We have never had such a bad experience in any hotel anywhere in the world. Although after that the hotel manager came from another place and took us to another hotel under the same brand, but the rude behavior of the reception made us a very bad experience. Of course, the cleanliness of the hotel and the location of the hotel were its positive points.
