The hotel and the apartment we had was lovely. The staff were so friendly and very welcoming. I would have booked a treatment at the Spa but each time we passed there was no one there. The restaurant staff were really very nice but the restaurant is a bit shambolic and the food was always just warm so that was the biggest letdown. The alcohol side of theall-inclusivee was very poor. We stayed at another hotel the previous year, and everything was included, even the branded drinks. It was relaxing, we always got a sun lounger and it was very, very clean. Supermarkets close by the shopping is great. Market day is a lot of fun

We really enjoyed our stay here. Me, my partner and 2 year old stayed in a bungalow near the pool. It's quite a big complex. The staff on arrival showed us where our bungalow was and dropped our luggage off for us. Not that it's was too far to walk to, but it was a case that we would struggle as it is cobbled pathways. All the staff was so polite and helpful. They made up a bed for my daughter and checked with me on arrival if this was okay or if I would require a cot, and less than five minutes later, a cot was brought in and made up. The maids who service the room are excellent. Very thorough. It's probably one of the cleanest places I have stayed. I would sit in our little garden every morning about 7.30 am and all round the pool, and the foot paths were swept and washed down, ready for the day. I could not fault a single thing about the cleanliness of this hotel. The pools are great for kids and adults, and there was a park, soft play, and a kids club. There were loads of outdoor workout equipment dotted around the complex. I didn't use the gym while there, but my mother did, and it seems it was well equipped. The entertainment staff was brilliant, very engaging with the children and adults. We went to the kids' club one night, which was great. Drinks are quite expensive. We didn't have any evening meals here but the breakfast was fantastic. Lots of choice. My partner is very fussy but did not have a problem finding different things to eat each day. We were given a card on arrival and told that we had to take it to breakfast to be able to get in, but in the 10 days we were there, it was not asked for once. The location of the hotel is great. It's a very short walk from lots of bars, restaurants, shopping, taxi and bus links. There is also a bustling market over the road that opens on Thursdays and Saturdays. In my opinion, I would say this hotel is great for both families and couples. There is plenty to do to keep children entertained and there are also plenty of areas for people who have gone for a quiet holiday. I spoke to quite a few people who seem to return to this hotel every year, one being an elderly couple who couldn't tell us how many time they had returned to the hotel. I would definitely recommend staying here, I can not think of one bad thing to say about it. We would go back to this hotel.
