The rooms smell weird. There’s no explaining the scent; it was just plain bad. The shower heads only let out THREE DROPS of water when I was showering, and the sinks/bathtubs had no drain stoppers. The beds were slightly uncomfortable and itchy. To make matters worse, the hotel staff weren’t willing to help with anything (we had to go out and buy our own soap, towels, toilet paper, napkins, etc). The thermostat/AC were odd as well (it doesn’t work past 70 or below 60), and there’s no daily housekeeping. Reception is terrible. The only good thing I could say about this hotel is that the private beach is pretty. Overall, I didn’t have a good experience and will not be returning. I don’t recommend whatsoever.

This is the very last place I’ll ever visit again. Don’t even get me started with the food. You better think twice if you think you’re going to be able to eat any of it without salt or pepper they don’t even provide you. The rooms we stayed looked nothing close to as nice at the photos provided. 0/10 and will not visit EVER again! The workers are absolutely disrespectful and do not want to give you a second of their time, even though it is their job. Id also like to mention the cockroaches and bedbugs. Place is nothing but filthy!!!!!

“I recently stayed at this hotel in Miami Beach, and unfortunately, it was the worst experience I’ve ever had. Throughout my stay, there were significant issues with both water and electricity, which made for a very uncomfortable and inconvenient visit. The rooms were poorly maintained, and the air conditioning was non-functional. Even worse, we were celebrating my mom’s birthday, and our expectations were far from met. Additionally, the swimming pool was under construction, which was not communicated during the booking process. The valet parking service was also a letdown, as it took an excessive amount of time to retrieve our car, and the staff’s attitude was far from friendly. The only saving grace was the hotel’s location, which was decent. Overall, my experience here was a disappointing 2 out of 5, with the location being the sole redeeming factor.” 👎🏻

We had a really good time in the apartment. However, it needs some improvements. The apartment accommodates 8 people, but there were only two forks, a few knives, and many spoons in the kitchen. For cooking, they only had spatulas. They do have plenty of glasses, mugs, and plates. Besides the fabric on the sofa's peeling off, the living room is well equipped. We couldn't enjoy the patio since the seat mesh on the chairs was torn and the metal rusted. The biggest thing to us was that the pool was under repair/maintenance, and there was no information about it when we closed the rental. The Girasole team is very responsive and quickly helped us when needed. The apartment was very clean and had the necessary for the first few days (paper towel, toilet paper, detergent in the kitchen).

my experience at the Girasole apartment/hotel in North Miami was very disappointing. The combination of a disgusting lobby scent and moldy smell, roach infestation in my room, bathroom leaks, unresponsive customer service, and poor hygiene standards severely impacted the quality of my stay. I had hoped for an affordable yet comfortable accommodation, but unfortunately, this was not the case. I sincerely hope that the management takes immediate and decisive action to rectify these issues, ensuring a more pleasant and satisfactory experience for future guests.
