The place sets in a quiet relaxing setting with traditional northern style decor. The owner P’Nom and husband are wonderful hosts; they also offer valuable information of places to see, things to do and where to eat that enable you to really experience the northern culture, Heritage and the people of northern region in a short time. I highly recommended this place if you want the Thai hospitality in a home feel atmosphere in excellent location. This is a place, you won’t be disappointed, not to mention coffee and wonderful in-house breakfasts.

Lovely place perfectly located and tucked away down an alley for a peaceful sleep. The rooms are pristine and comfortable. Nam is an excellent host and she puts lots of love into every corner of the hotel. There is also a coffeeshop on site for your matcha or coffee needs. Highly recommended as homebase to explore the chiang mai old city.

Highly recommend! This hotel is located in the back of an alley and is quiet and quaint, away from the sound of cars and people. The owners are wonderful people. There’s breakfast options included, and an artisan coffee shop right nearby. It’s walking distance to local markets.

I’m finishing up my 10 night stay at this beautiful hotel and don’t want to leave. The owners are amazing and the location is perfect for exploring the old city. The hotel is situated at the end of an alley which makes it very quiet relative to the areas nearby. There’s koi pond and the sound of running water. The coffee shop that is a part of the hotel, Pegasus, is also wonderful. The beans are roasted fresh daily and the owner takes pride in every cup that leaves the place. The breakfast served in the morning had many options. I tried all of them in my time here and enjoyed them all. I met a couple of people while staying here. Some of them left for another place they’d planned to stay part of their trip and ended up returning because they liked Gord Nuea so much. The owners pour all of their heart into making this a special place for their guests and it is apparent. I would definitely recommend staying here and look forward to returning should I find myself in Chiang Mai in the future.
