Excellent hotel, fantastic location, the staff were excellent, very clean, although the only thing i would say, is that the stair carpets need replacing? food was fresh and constantly replaced (as it is buffet style). Night entertainment was quite professional, as most hotels I've stayed at, the artists have been ok, but average. Staff can't do enough for you, big shout out to the entertainment team during the day, I have never stayed at a hotel where so many people take part in their activities, this is due to their professional approach and dedication to the job. Overall experience here was very good and would come back. We came in in the summer holidays so of course it is more expensive than out of season. Still even with what we paid it was still fairly good value. The food was really lovely – excellent selection every day and of course being a buffet plenty of it. They were quick to make sure no dishes were running low/out. Drinks in the restaurant were good, although if you wanted a top up you had to ask. Outdoor area was very popular but again the hotel managed it well with a separate queue to sit out there. The only part I failed to understand is why we had to book the buffet for dinner every night? Not for breakfast and lunch though? Was not too much of a pain just a quick stop off to reception every day. The Bars around the hotel were lovely only major moan here was ‘get some more staff’ the hotel seemed to have a policy of only having 1 bartender on at any time was ridiculous. The queue could sometimes be 10 – 15 people deep!! However, when you did get to the bar the drinks were fantastic. Cocktails freshly made, great selection of premium spirits and ice cold beer. Coffee bar was great – broad selection of coffees and pastries. Again though, only one member of staff so if you time it wrong be prepared to queue! We had the basic room which was fine, bed was really comfortable, and room was clean and kept clean. Plenty of sunbeds around the pools and as per usual some people always feel to need to get up super early run down ‘secure’ the sunbed with a towel or book then go back to bed. The hotel did pick and choose when to move people towels etc. That said if you are not fussed about having a bed directly in front of the pool then there was plenty of them dotted around. Entertainment was very good. Location wise was brilliant. Short walk into town out the front of the hotel and directly on the beach out the back of the hotel – perfect!! Reception was helpful and the welcome glass of ice cold Cava was a lovely touch. Overall, all a great hotel but some silly trivial things stop it being a fantastic hotel.
