We've spent a delightful stay here in historia hotel. The localization was perfect since it was near any kind of transportation, we also felt very safe (we were 4 women so safety was one of our priority). Overall it was great! We highly recommend this place.

Do not book this hotel!!! First issue is that they don’t have an elevator. The room was tiny. I booked a room with 1 double and 1 single bed. (Check pictures) They gave a room with a double and squeezed a single so the room got smaller. (Check pictures) The bathroom was the worst. Bathroom was small and the sink was so close to the mirror that I hit my head every time I tried to rinse my mouth. (Check pictures) There is a hole in the bathroom where mosquitoes came in. (Check pictures) The shower drain is clogged and water sits. The toilet seat was broken. (Check pictures) A live wire hanging from the ceiling. (Check pictures). Dirty linens (Check pictures). The staff is very unhelpful. They refuse to give linens and lie saying they don’t have any. I’ve been to many hotels in many different countries, but I have never had a worst experience than this one. Save yourself and do not book this hotel!!!

Hello, definitely do not visit and if you do, in no way allow the staff to offer you another hotel that is further away that is exactly the same. This is a big scam. They will lead you to a deserted street where garbage is lying on the streets. The quality of the breakfast is appalling, you sit outside in the garage area where there is bird excrement everywhere. The bathrooms are rusted, the room doors cannot be closed, the smell of cigarettes is everywhere. Huge disappointment!

The rooms are clean and new, good value for the price. The breakfast is good, and the view from the terrace is amazing (terrace will open later in summer). The hosts are very helpful, friendly,and polite Initially the neighbourhood might seem dissapointing, but give it a chance and you will discover lots of places where you can eat or shop. You can walk to most important tourist attractions and the Halic bridge is just a couple of minutes away. Great stay if you are looking for a clean, affordable place in a less touristic neighbourhood.

The hotel is new, opened about 2 weeks ago. All is new so this is great! The owner and the other staff are very polite and they give the best advices in terms of restaurants, tourist attractions, etc. The hotel is situated near the city center, you can walk to all major attractions in Istanbul. The neighbourhood is a little dirty but it's a very commercial area. You have many restaurant options in the area, affordable restaurants in wich locals eat, not tourist traps. On the last floor the hotel has a terrace that has the best view of Istanbul, Galata Tower, Galata bridge, Asian part of Istanbul. On the terrace you can eat, drink or leisure. Overall, i hand a nice experience here.
