This may be the best hotel I’ve ever stayed at, and I have stayed at many hotels in many cities. Other hotels may LOOK nicer, but fall apart on closer inspection (Top floor in Toronto, beautiful, no hot water. Ultra modem hotel in Montreal, beautiful, the ultra modern shower is ultra poorly designed and not at all practical). This hotel looks great, the room amenities are great and the hotel amenities are great. All of the staff seem very happy, and are very helpful! The restaurant may be a little overpriced, but the room was very inexpensive, so it balances out.

My experience at Holiday Inn Calgary Airport was outstanding. They went above and beyond by arranging a complimentary shuttle to the airport for me, which made my travel experience much smoother and stress-free. The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodation, and tasty breakfast earns this hotel a well-deserved 5/5 stars from me. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic stay in Calgary.

Stayed here recently, January 19 - 21, 2023 with family that drove 10 hours from Northern SK. Every single year we stay at the Holiday Inn on Banff Trail in Calgary, but we decided to try something different this year to which we were met with disappointment. Customer service during check in was lacking. The rooms are tiny & feel very cramped/compact. It says the pool is heated, but the pool was ice cold & the hot tub was luke warm. The windows had ice build up inside & the ceiling was dripping. Hours on their website, throughout the hotel & from employees is not consistent to any department. On Saturday morning at 10:40 am we asked what time breakfast was done & were told "the restaurant is now closed until 4:00 pm & you will have to leave if you want to eat". Based on the website I called down to confirm this once more, we were then told breakfast goes until 11:00 am so we hurried down. Once in the restaurant we asked about the hours & the staff were confused why someone would tell us its closed when they are open ALL day. Service in the restaurant was poor, we ordered coffee & didn't get any for over 10 minutes & there were only 4 others in the restaurant. One of our meals was cooked incorrect & we didn't receive the remake until everyone was done eating. The biggest issue was when we called asking for towels & toilet paper. We got a knock on our door for the toilet paper delivery, not even 5 seconds later the house keeper knocked on the door & let herself into our room! We had just finished swimming & we're getting changed. She then came back 5 minutes later with towels & AGAIN let herself into our room, not allowing us even 30 seconds to answer the door. When you stay here, you are not guaranteed respect or privacy. Staff need to be trained better overall here. This is the business of hospitality. Definitely won't be back.

Friendly staff, great amenities. My first stay wasn't the greatest but everyone was friendly. Our second trip has been alot better. Rooms are a decent size and the beds in our room are alot softer then the first stay. The pool is definitely over chlorinated under to have a major rinse off afterwards. Going to try there shuttle service out and will edit with a review of that also.

Rooms are a bit cramped, and ours seemed like it might have been broken into. The peephole was backward, not something I checked, but a family member in another room did. She fixed it for me. The views from the panoramic 5th floor viewing spot were great, the kids liked that. The pool was okay, and it needs a little work, but it does the job as a pool. The only real complaint we had was the restaurant breakfast buffet. It was basic food, bag scrambled eggs, bacon ham sausage, French toast. All was cool and hard when we got there and wasn't filled again until just before we left. They charged us a gratuity because we were a large group, 11 people. We paid separately, and I ended up paying over$50.00 for 2 adults, including the tip. Ridiculous, we served ourselves, including beverages and coffee. Even had to make your own toast... ate at Dennys across the road the next day for under $35, and food was fresh, hot, and served to us.
