One of the most limited low cost hotels I have stayed in the last years. The positive aspects are the size of the room and bathroom (comparing to other facilities of the hotel), and some of the staff that try their best (not all, some were very unfriendly). The breakfast is extremely limited in terms of items and their quality (even the peanut butter of very low quality), no cheese spread, gluten-free just a simple granola, etc. The room is very empty, no minibar. The hotel has nothing besides rooms, and a very squished reception with some food/drinks to pick and pay next to it and the breakfast place. In the same trip we have stayed some days at the Marriott, just 2-3 blocks from the Hollyday Inn, and price not too higher, but the Marriott was so much better. At the end of my staying, and additional surprise was that they announced that they needed to charge me an extra because the fully prepaid reservation did not cover their full prince (I had neve seen that before). If you arrive before 3pm, expect long waiting time to start checking in just after 3pm. Thus, I recommend to look for other hotels in Rotterdam.

Using the parking lot is uncomfortable. Whenever I enter the parking lot, the car number is not automatically recognized, or there is no way to tag the hotel key. Also, there are 4 lifts, but 2 of them don't go to the ground floor that is linked to the parking lot. Probably I don't know how to use the services better.

We stayed in this hotel for 1 night. The best thing about it is the location. It is close to almost everything in Rotterdam. However, the rooms are really outdated. The carpet is not clean. There are a lot of things that need to be improved. There isn't much choice in breakfast. I recommend the hotel if you are staying for 1 night. 2 stars for location and staff.

Stayed here for 2 nights. The reception staff and General manager made me feel welcomed. After coming off a flight from the US at 9am they allowed me early-check in (subject to availability of course). The Location is great, only about 2-3 blocks from Central Station and an easy walk. You're right outside a tram station as well, to get around Rotterdam. I would just walk to most of the places nearby as nothing I really wanted to see was more than a 15 minute walk. Room was simple but well appointed. It did not have a mini-fridge or iron. Usually these Express hotels are for business travelers who might need to iron a shirt. The Air condition worked well although you could open the window if needed. Breakfast had plenty of seating. The spread was simple and standard for a continental breakfast in Europe. It had sliced deli meats, 2 cheeses, croissants and toast, a couple of cereals, and warm hard boiled eggs. I really wish they had a better hot section instead of warmed eggs I'm happy. There was only 1 coffee machine and the line would get long at times. Overall I would recommend staying here because of the location and really great value. It has public transportation nearby, and all the staff I interacted with were really amazing. They had staff speaking Dutch, English, French, and Spanish, and probably more. They had a private room to store luggage in case you wanted to explore the city before or after check-in.
