Basic B+B hotel. Very easy to get to from bus and train station, also by water taxi. The hotel is clean, staff are friendly and helpful and most speak at least 2 languages. It is on 4 floors , there is a small very slow lift or stairs. (Stairs seem to be a feature of Venice - they are everywhere) It is very central, at the end of the street are cafes, shops, church, water taxis, gondolas, bridges across the canals, train station and the Rialto Bridge is nearby. I would definitely stay there again.

My partner and I stayed in this hotel for one night as part of our trip to Venice. Firstly, I will start with the positives. The location is excellent; a short 5 to 10 minute walk from the bus and train stations and there are lovely shops, restaurants, and bars in the local area. The staff were lovely, despite some of the other reviews I have read, we had no problems with the staff. We were allowed to leave luggage, albeit unattended, whilst we explored the city, as the room was being prepared. The room was clean and the bed was large and comfortable. The negatives now. The hotel is incredibly basic, the pictures on the website do not represent the rooms that you would typically get. Despite our room being clean, it was incredibly basic with no amenities and an old and very shabby external bathroom. The lift was poor and not fit for purpose. The hotel was quite smelly and shabby in most places, especially the corridors. The breakfast was also poor; not a great variety of items on the menu and the staff do not like you doing certain things yourself such as putting your own milk in your cereal or coffee. I feel that the hotel is missing a trick here. All it needs is a bit of time and effort put into the decor and you would have the perfect place to stay in Venice! As it stands I wouldn’t choose to stay here again. I would try the hotel immediately next door or something further away in the centre of the city, but if you are looking for something on a very tight budget, this isn’t a bad option for you.

Very good location, not a fancy place but I tot it was nice. The rooms are I think what is expected in Venice. They’re old but clean and functional, i tot the room to be large and came with a balcony facing the street. We had the separate bathroom. Room was quiet and we slept well. Only complaint is locking/unlocking the bathroom door. Uses a very old style key and we had difficulty unlocking/locking with the key. Our stay included the breakfast, and to our surprise it was amazingly good! Coffee was amazing!

So please, if you from any reason definitely need an elevator - than be careful if you choose this hotel and definitely verify that you get a room in the part of the hotel where works an elevator. In any case the hotel is located in the good place - next to the train station and near to the bus station. The lady which cleans the room is very careful and cleans your room every day. So if is for you important to have cleaning of your room every day, it is a place for you. By the arriving to the hotel you have to choose the breakfast's time in the morning - the reason is that the breakfast room is relativly small, only a few tables. So you get the exact time to your breakfast. It may not be pleasant for someone. Breakfast is OK, you can have ham, eggs, some cheese, jam, butter, croissant, yoghurt, cookies, everything is complemented.

The room was very clean and were cleaned every day it's just dated. The rooms are very noisy but it's an old building so to be expexted. Could do with a revamp. Breakfast is very basic. Our bathroom was in a separate room but not shared, whilst not ideal we knew this at the time of booking. This hotel is perfect for the train and bus stations. Staff were friendly. What do you expect for the price especially in Venice.
