The room was excellent, very charming and quiet at night, even with the window open you will just relax hearing the water from outside, the only downside was that next to the bed there were no power outlets. We didn't really ask or benefited much from the service, our welcoming was friendly and good, after that we didn't really made much contact anymore. The food was ok, you will not leave hungry and there's something for everyone. We only wished there was more than 1 variety of cheese and salami and that the eggs are not boiled so long, they were always a (little) bit green on the inside. For the price, the hotel has an excellent location, you don't have to walk far to find a boat and even San Marco is easily accessible on foot. If you are very lucky you might even meet a friendly black cat relaxing on the couch at the entrance 🐈.

The location is away from touristic centre but it's not that far walking. People at the reception are really nice and humble. We didn't enjoy the breakfast much. Our room was next to a canal and there was a lot of noise early morning when the boats passby. But also as we had canal view room it was a good view.

I would not stay here again. The smell of the hotel was horrible… especially the corridor… room also smelled like super old house and wasn’t ventilated for ages… we slept with the windows open all night… This hotel definitely has a problem with ventilation! Or no ventilation at all! Breakfast was very basic, no hot food. Staff friendly. Location Ok. You also need to leave the room key every time you leave the hotel…

If I could give 6 stars I would! Fantastic hotel! Ideal placement of being off the beaten track but close enough to the main toruist area and waterboat stops. Lovely and sweet interior, spacious room, toilet with a bath and shower combo and a wardrobe (including a safe-we never really figured it out but its there)! The most sweetest, caring and friendly staff at the hotel, especially Riccardo who helped us feel so welcome in Venice and helping us figure out the transport times for our train travel. The breakfast is very nice and varied: yogurts, fruit, cold meats and cheeses, croissants, breads, cakes and cereals, of course with coffees and juices. It was 10 € per person, which we found reasonable as it was set in a buffet style. We payed the city tax and breakfast fee together the day before departure. The hotel really made the experience of our short trip to Venice that much more spectacular. Really recommend!
