Very nice boutique and family run hotel with excellent location and super friendly staff, especially the owner/manager. Her advice was priceless and she went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Car parking was arranged in a nearby lot. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed in Hotel Hohenstaufen in Dec 2023. A very nice, warm and cosy hotel that gives an antique feel. The room which my wife and I stayed have furnitures and lightings which looks like from the early 20th century. Room size is spacious, bed is comfy, heater is working, location is near to Salzburh Hbf and also walking distance to the aldstat and tourist attraction. There are also alot of halal eateries, cafes, halal grocery store and backerei nearby.

Very friendly staff and allowed us to leave our luggage at the reception before check in to explore Salzburg. The room was great, zero complaints, extremely clean, toilet was clean, high water pressure. Room had a very authentic European vibe and bed was very comfy. Near the salzburg hofbahnhof main train station so there is no need to take additional public transport to get there. one area of concern is that the hofbahnhof area is not like the oldtown, so temper your expectations of the nearby vicinity, it is more urban and it’s not uncommon to encounter drunks / weirdos, which might not align with your impression of salzburg. however we did not experience any problems and our stay there was fantastic.
