Similar to most of the posts, the hotel is stunning and indeed the staff treat you as family. Quite different from most hotels. A big plus is that it is 100m off the main party street so it is quiet yet accessible to all. Breakfasts are excellent where you have a menu rather than a buffet. Quality is top notch and filling. The building and rooms are stunning, quite new we suspect. Don’t hesitate to book here. You won’t go wrong

Lovely hotel with clean, comfortable, spacious rooms. Feels like an oasis, a world on its own when you are inside. Staff are super nice and genuinely helpful. The streets around are not the most glamorous but seem safe. Walking distance to the old City. Seems to be an up and coming area. The sofa is comfy for a child and there is a room separator that can be drawn to create a bit of separation between the “kids area” and the “main bedroom”. The area with the sofa also has a ceiling fan. The room has aircon. The gym is small but has everything one would expect. The breakfast is very nice - all dishes we tried were delicious. It comes with complementary free flow black coffee and a selection of juices. All in all we had a lovely time here!

Our stay at Hotel Loy was outstanding. I wish we could give them 7 stars. The location was walkable and convenient yet just enough off the main road to stay quiet all day. The rooms and pool and facilites were clean and minimalist and gorgeous. But by far the best part of our stay was the staff. They were so so friendly and welcoming at all hours. They always had little drinks or treats to share when coming and going and they even offered to rub mosquito lotion on my parents feet! The rooms were well appointed and the pool and gym facilities were outstanding. We would recommend that families or couples choose to stay here and enjoy Chiang Mai in style.

Hostile check out experience!!! Wouldn't recommend this place. We asked the staff for a late check out he said he will let us know if there is no reservation he can allow check out by 2pm, in the morning they called us at 11:30 to ask us if we want to extend we told them no, that means the room was not booked and we could easily get some time to pack, but the staff still refuse to give us any time, and were sitting on our head, it was a very very unpleasant experience, for some reason looked liked they just wanted to fine us, we checked out by 12:20 feeling relieved, we felt a very hostile vibe from the receptionist, very unpleasant checkout, we thought that it was a very nice place at first to recommend our friends and family to stay, but would definitely not recommend it if you are looking for good service. The hotel room is nice not worth the price. New staff that is working at the bar are very sweet, they tried to make up for unpleasant our experience. Overall don't expect service or any concession from the staff, rooms are nice and comfortable to stay.
