Stayed here two nights with my wife. Service was very good. There was an issue with our bathroom sink upon arrival. Management sent up someone within seconds to address it. Location is very good too. A few minutes walking distance from the main train station and to the main historical streets of the city. Rooms were outdated, but to the point where they are antique styled. There were antique night tables and an antique desk with leather top that was really nice. Very high ceilings with vintage styled walls. We were there late July 2023 and there was brand new and fully functional wifi and AC. The reason I have rooms at 2 stars is because of the noise. We had a room facing the a busy street and people in Naples like to honk. Especially late at night and early in the morning. It’s loud and I highly recommend sleeping with some earplugs or something. The noise alone should bring the rating down to 3 starts, but to be fair, it’s a good budget friendly hotel that I would recommend. Just remember to buy earplugs or request a room at the back.

In one word: Horrific. Tl;dr - DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL. While cheap you can certainly see exactly which corners have been cut for a disgusting experience. The only positive is the front desk which was fast, pleasant, and very helpful. From the moment I walked into the room I wanted to checkout. The room stank and needed to be aired out. The carpet flooring was appalling and had disgusting stains all over it. The bed made our bodies itch the moment we sat down, and the cover was littered with crumbs. The sheets had nasty dark, short, and curly hairs all over it from previous guests. The upholstry was covered in dust. Luckily the room did not appear to have bed bugs, although the state of it made me so paranoid I couldnt stop googling and checking every corner for signs of them. There is no window, instead there is a thin wooden door which allows you to hear the tiniest movement of cars outside (which do not stop honking). The bathroom while large had digusting stains all over it and the entire room flooded immediately after turning on the water. The toilet seat was sticky and too small for the bowl. The plugs did not work properly and to get the to work it was a constant battle of unplugging, plugging in and repeating until power came through. The moment you unplug this entire process repeats. Oh and I almost forgot: The walls are covered in squished dead bugs. Furthermore, while conveniently close to the central station, the area the hotel is in feels unsafe even during broad daylight. The lessons I learned from this stay: 1) How to check for bed bugs. 2) Never cheap out on a hotel room.

Yikes. Let me say, the location is convenient, the guy working the desk was very pleasant and helpful and the elevator worked. However. The room had NOT been cleaned at all after the last visitor. Literally the bathroom had used soap packages and toilet was dirty. There were bottles scattered throughout the room. The bed had been made but there was a highly suspicious fresh looking, white-ish translucent schmear across the bedspread which was the final straw for me. I wanted to check out within the first 30 seconds. I booked through Hotels.com (extremely unhelpful since they joined with Expedia) and they couldn’t give me an answer on how to cancel and find a place that had at least been cleaned. I ended up just laying 80€ to get outta there and then booking another Ave. Ironically I used hotels.com again, just to use my “OneKeyCash”, I will not be using their services in the future. Again, the front desk guy was understanding and congenial but claimed he couldn’t get a hold of the manager (not his fault) and even gave me recommendations of other places. Regardless- I paid €80 To spend 15 minutes in a completely filthy room which had NOT BEEN CLEANED. So, that was an experience I hope to never repeat. The lobby had other guests who seemed satisfied so I don’t know if I was just unlucky. Overall, I blame the management and hotels.com for forcing me to pay €80 for an elevator ride and a trashed room.

The hotel is no way close to three stars. The rooms are basic, every piece of furniture has seen better days. The street noise all day and night was awful, although there are three sets of blinds. Breakfast was all served on plastic dishes, food absolutely bland. The only positive thing is the location and the fact that everything was clean, although rundown. Only good for a one night stay.

With the price of the hotel and previous reviews I wasn't expecting great things. I always take reviews with a pinch of salt as it seems people have very high expectations when clearly booking on a very low budget? I just hoped for a clean room. I am glad I didn't listen to the reviews!! We arrived late and the receptionist (Massimo) was very friendly and helpful, we were impressed with the location (right by the train station and the airport bus stop) it's set next to a main road and open square so you don't need to wander down side streets to find it. We even managed to find great pizza and wine just around the corner after midnight, which was great after a long day of traveling! What we already knew about Napoli is to be vigilant of people and your belongings on the streets and transport, I have read some reviews and don't feel this is fair to review a hotel based on homeless people on the streets and not feeling safe outside the hotel, there are and if your not comfortable and want more touristic experience then is better to stay in the centre. It's only a 10 mins walk into the vibrant centre where you will find buzzing bars and bustling streets day and night. I must personally say we explored the surrounding streets late at night and didn't feel unsafe at any point, just be streetwise. Back to the hotel, the hotel and rooms are dated/traditional but very clean and well kept, I think most places are traditional and is inkeeping with the buildings. Friendly reception staff round the clock, daily cleaner for the room and a good selection for the continental breakfast, fresh croissants, yoghart and very nice coffee!! Such great value!! Had good WiFi in the room. The only thing is that the air-conditioning didn't work, we didn't ask to fix it or request a fan as we kept the balcony doors open for breeze. This would be the only slight downfall that we could have decided be with. I would ABSOLUTELY come back next time we are in the city & hope that will be in the very near future as love Napoli and enjoyed our 5 night stay in this hotel!
