An amazing authentic Venetian hotel. The staff were lovely and helpful especially breakfast they make coffee exactly how to liked it, provided you can speak some Italian! Gave us a bottle of champagne which fizzed over (it was okay lol) and a note to wish us a happy honeymoon which was very sweet

Unreasonable and totally profit-oriented hotel. The hotel refused to refund because of irresistible flight strike and also weather issues. Furthermore, the room was already canceled on booking, while the hotel claims to hold the room which was already canceled. How could they keep a room that was already canceled on the platform? An implausible excuse. The hotel does not care about consumer difficulties and only wants profits. How would this kind of hotel be responsible to consumers?

We were really excited for this hotel, sadly it felt short of expectations. The person working at check in during the evening hours was not very welcoming. He wasn’t mean or rude but just cold. The room was well appointed with a comfortable bed. We didn’t enjoy the breakfast it seemed to be cheap quality and accompanied by a ton of flies on the second morning. Filip at the front desk really saved the experience, he was extremely helpful and kind. He provided excellent service and conversation.

4.2/5 overall score. In general as for Venice where each building is old and there’s not much space those rooms were big. The bed was comfortable, bathroom is also great with an ability to open a window. TV had many channels. We got kettle, mugs and coffee/tea set. The staff was generally very nice. What I found odd is that you have to leave the room key. I haven’t seen that anywhere else. You have to pick a date for breakfast and there’s 40 minutes for you to eat. Sometimes it takes a couple of minutes to get coffee. I recommend getting a coffee machine. That would speed things up. The window view was ok. The elevator is small but good that it’s there. Breakfast could be better. It was the smallest breakfast I ever had in a hotel and rolls are too hard to eat.
