Lovely hotel, super good pool which was nice to chill after seeing the sites of Capri. Like other reviews mention, hotel is around 10mins walk, last 1/2 up hill from the main square, but is on the way to some of the sites such as Villa Lysis. Rooms are a bit dated, but it's nice to be close enough to town but far enough away to have some piece and quiet.

We had the best time here in Capri, which was partly thanks to this hotel! The hotel has an old Italian charm (don’t expect new amenities), which in my opinion makes the whole experience very authentic. It’s quite small, so not many other guests. We were always able to use the pool with barely anyone else using it. The best food we had on the island was at this hotel (and more affordable too). The staff were so nice and helpful! But be prepared, there is quite a steep climb up the hill to reach it - which we didn’t mind as it made us shed some of the calories we consumed haha. There’s some nice restaurants and a supermarket close by, so you won’t even have to go all the way down to be set! Also pretty close to the Arco Naturale (worth a visit)

Fantastic location, staff, and accomodation. We were 3 girls traveling through Italy and this was the perfect spot for Capri. The staff is like family. Free breakfast was wonderful. We had to leave early for our ferry and the staff set up a special complimentary breakfast 2 hours earlier than normal so we could eat before we go. The pool, rooms, location...wonderful.

Nice hotel, fairly standard room fixtures, we had a room with three single beds which was nice. The hotel felt quite short on staff, with one lady doing the cleaning, breakfast service, bar work and clearing up all at the same time, so sometimes hard to find someone to serve you. The sunbeds were comfy and the pool very refreshing and a good design. We stayed for breakfast and this wasn't the standard I was really expecting from a hotel of this cost. Mainly pastries, juice and toast, with some fruit salads (these contain nuts!) Check in and out was easy enough, although if you're carrying heavy suitcases this is a reasonable walk uphill from the Palazzo Umberto II, so consider a luggage hire system if you're not comfortable walking. Capri generally very expensive so budget accordingly.

When we arrived at the hotel, we asked the owner some questions about the area and how to move in the island, the owner was very rude and told us to leave if we were not happy (we just asked some informations about the area). The hotel is clearly not a 4 stars, and the decoration is very old ( it seems it is the same decoration since 20-30 years). The bed is not comfortable and the shower is very small. We were very disappointed by the place.
