Rooms extremely comfortable, staff is friendly and attentive. Food in the cafe is great - came in handy for the days when I was too tired to go out. The only negative thing that happened was we got stuck in one of the elevators our first day there, but maintenance immediately responded to our phone call and the issue was resolved within 5 minutes. Evidently, the issue was fixed immediately, because the elevator functioned properly the rest of the time we were there.

My husband and I stayed here for a while and every time we checked in, everyone was very nice and welcoming. Maria at the M Club is amazing. She always went out of her way to be nice to us and get us anything we needed. The hotel provided a buffet breakfast or if you have access to the M Club, they’ll make omelets or prepare eggs to your liking. They also provide a light dinner and desert around 5:30 every day. The rooms themselves are comfortable. I believe this is where an airline company houses the people going through their training to become stewardesses so in the mornings and evenings it did get a little loud and the elevators became crowded. The parking could’ve been better but it’s no employees fault. I think once a week there’s church meetings in a hall in the back of the hotel which meant if you didn’t get a parking spot before the meeting started, you had to park off to the side parking garage which really just meant walking a little more. The location of the hotel is convenient. You can access the highway pretty easily and grocery stores or places to eat are not too far of a drive. Overall I really enjoyed our stay here and would stay here again.

Had lunch here with some clients ordered fowl and it tasted like fish, it was very gross and disgusting. Was embarrassing and almost cost me the meeting. Paid and left. Luckily we went around the corner and had a better lunch. Clients were happy with my problem solving and handling the horrid food with class. Did not stay in the rooms personally but my clients said they were serviceable.

The shuttle service from the airport to the hotel was spot on, to easy check in. The hotel manager was awesome and made sure all 4 of rooms were on the same floor and next door to one another. Breakfast in the morning was a lot more than I expected. Staying here made the beginning of our trip easy and a perfect start. Kudos to the staff Highly recommend especially if you are planning on traveling to Galveston for a cruise.

The food in the restaurant was quite delicious. Had calamari appetizers and chicken fried steak, garlic mashed potatoes, and delightfully seasoned grilled mixed veggies. In the ball Room on the second day, the group meal was a beautiful salad with peppercorn dressing, steak with a nice sauce, fingerling potatoes, and green beans, followed by a giant piece of decadent chocolate cake. The hotel has been remodeled, room decor tends to be minimalistic/industrial. Clean and functional. My only complaint was the ill-conceived toilet paper holde allowed the toilet tissue to fly across the room when attempting to tear a few sheets. The lobby needed a better air circulation to allow more fresh air.
