Hôtel des Alpes

We left the hotel around 11AM in the morning for breakfast in the city and left my luggage and a backpack downstairs to come and get them later, but I have FORGOT a small bag in the room where I had put all my documents and 400 Euro in 50 euros banknotes. When I returned to the hotel after three hours around 2PM we were told that we forgot something and we told the receptionist that we were aware that we forgot a bag with documents. She gave us the bag and we thanked her. She told us that when the cleaning lady found the bag she was so worried that we would go without the bag but the receptionist knew that we would get back and take our luggages. When we got in the car we opened the bag and we realized that money was missing. My husband returned to the hotel and told the woman at the reception that the money was missing and she made a call and told my husband that nobody knows anything. She told my husband that BOTH, she and the cleaning lady opened the bag and saw ONLY the documents in there, which is a lie and they didn't need to open my bag since the receptionist knew that we would get back in the hotel to pick other luggages. In an effort to gather more information, my husband returned to the hotel for a second time. He found the receptionist and the cleaning lady engaged in a conversation and asked where they found the bag during which the cleaning lady stated that it was impossible for her to take the money and then return the documents to us. I am incredibly frustrated and disappointed about this situation. It's profoundly upsetting to have experienced a theft during our stay at your hotel, especially given the circumstances. This unfortunate incident has left me not only with personal belongings missing but also with a negative impression of the hotel. I have also informed the hotel by email of this incident, but it seems that nobody cares about that.

It’s a highly recommended hotel at the heart of the city 3 minutes to the lake and 2 minutes to the central train station , I met Gabriela at the front desk so helpful and welcoming staff, food everywhere around the hotel and very close to the airport
