Perfect stay at Hyatt House Jersey City; couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The rooms and entire hotel were very clean and smelled fresh. We interacted with maybe a half dozen different staff members during our stay and all of them were super accommodating and professional. The location is superb and offers great views of Manhattan with multiple modes of transport for a quick trip into the city (high speed ferry or Path train). There’s also a peaceful waterfront boardwalk area right outside the hotel. This area is great for walking or people watching. There is also a Starbucks and Gregory’s Coffee within a 2 min walk from the hotel in the same boardwalk area. To the Hyatt House Jersey City staff, thanks for making our stay top notch! We cannot wait to return!

If you want a more relaxed visit to the city with a good restaurant view of downtown Manhattan, this is the place. With convenient access to the red line, it isn't an expensive hassle to get to and from the main attraction. Rooms are great, clean, and stocked to live. Mini suite style is great for short term stays or those that want a little more room than just a bed and bath. They have a little convenience shop behind the desk, but it would be nice to have at least water bottles stocked in the fridge in the room itself. I do wish the restaurant served lunch. It would have been perfect for an evening flight to look over to the city while eating a relaxing lunch. Other than those minor inconveniences, it's worth checking out if you want a decent mix of quality, price, and location while not being right in the middle of everything.

Room was spacious but service was terrible. Bathroom was not cleaned from the previous use. Top part of the shampoo and conditioner bottles were broken. Microwave in the room doesn't work. Room didn't even have coffee cups. TV is so old that doesn't support subscription services. However the location of the hotel was good. You can see the NYC skyline from the room

My family took me to Roof Top for my birthday and I truly felt special. We had a private room and from there we had New Yor City as our background. The server was kind, professional and courteous. I could drink all their specialty drinks, they were good, food was good too, their steak was special. We also had the luxury of going to the roof to take pictures and it was just a beautiful night and place to be.

Rooms were modern and clean and overall location was great. However, be sure to ask for a room facing away from the light rail— the train makes a lot of noise from 5am-1am, and you can hear station announcements/noise clearly. Additionally, breakfast was not great, with some selections being inedible. Overall though, Hyatt House Jersey city presents great value and an unbeatable location for exploring NYC.
