Hyatt Place continues to be one of my favorite chains for midlevel hotels. This one’s rooms are a bit smaller and a different layout than most. The night I was there they did not have food because they were short staffed. I didn’t need food, but it’s always nice to have the option. Parking was plentiful and the staff was friendly and efficient. Bed was comfortable and the room was spotless.

Wonderful Hotel. Staff is so friendly and efficent. We are not here for a pleasure trip, family member in the ICU. We could not ask for anything better. Compassionate staff, quiet hotel and peaceful. Thank you so much for being so accommodating in our sad time. Breakfast is great! Fresh and so many choices. Clean rooms and very comfy cozy beds!!! A++++ for this Hotel and staff!!!

Pool is great you can see through the water so you know that it’s clean and not foggy, the whole hotel is probably the cleanest in Amarillo. I spent hours looking for the right hotel to stop at on the way to Colorado, this one is priced great at $118a night. I need to add another thing I like about this hotel is the shampoo and conditioner and shower gel it has the big pumps on the wall. this shampoo and conditioner is amazing on my hair, I’ve had other hotel soap, and they ruin my hair. The shower water pressure is really great. Only Con I would give this hotel, is that on the wall the ac/heat control panel light stays on all night, I covered it up with a hand towel, and that worked fine.

This hotel stay was a part of a longer road trip from CA to TN, second stop, and it was by far the best stay with its location, amenities, and room. My boyfriend, his dog, and I felt welcome and safe. The room itself was a large one, and it's located near lots of eateries and shopping. We couldn't explore, but we really enjoyed our time in our very large room!
