The Hyatt Grand Cypress has beautiful outdoor areas including two very large lagoon-style pools and a "beach" area next to a small lake. Great for families. Some rooms have views of the park fireworks at night. It can be crowded on holiday weekends, but otherwise is very nice. I have stayed here twice.

Very convenient for conventions too. Fantastic location. Well maintained and friendly staff. Been going there 4 years in a row, can’t think I could find any better at similar rates. Great swimming pool too !

Conference stop, but oh so close to Disney. Staff was amazingly friendly, always ready with a smile at all levels from front door to cleaning and food service. It was amazing in contrast to so many places these days. Loved seeing Merlot, the hotel ambassador, a macaw who is perched in the lobby and a special guest at one of my conference receptions.

We love this resort. The room options are fantastic and having stayed in several of the suites we would highly recommend the VIP or Bi-level Suites. Most of these rooms have a great view of Disney fireworks which can make for a lovely quiet evening in. If you’re more into the activities than the rooms this property will NOT disappoint. With pedal boats, water slides, rock wall climbing, mini golf, and pools galore there’s something for everyone. The pool side bar and grill is one of the better ones in the Orlando area. The menu is not super expansive but rather simple, well done, and kid approved. Our kids love both the grilled cheese, chicken strips as well as their fruit options and smoothies. It’s a beautiful property - located in a prime location, a must try.

Lake Restaurant is hit or miss. Breakfast can be exceedingly crowded. Lunch/dinner seemed to be better. Food quality is good. Staff was good - we loved Beverly Hotel room was fine. Beds are hard as a rock. Balconies are not real - basically 1 foot slab. Pool area was nice. Both Hot tubs are in surprisingly bad shape - dingy and no bubbles. This hotel seems cater to corporate/conferences/business crowd and less interested families/kids. We didn’t feel the welcoming vibe but rather an outsider. So if you are a Disney traveler- seek alternative. I personally feel it is a mistake to fleece customers for essentials at a luxury/high end hotel. I forgot sunscreen for my kids (critical for Florida sun), I had to shell out $30 for the smallest/cheapest option. Daughter forgot razor - $28 - I mean really?? A good customer service hotel would have good reasonable accommodations for travel needs.
