Nice basic hotel, good walking distance to Banff main street. Room was spacious and clean. Comfortable beds. Our room was located on the farthest side of the building so it’s very quiet. The jets on the tub were not working. They have heated basement parking but very limited spaces and low overhead clearance.

Large room! Very comfortable beds. We appreciated having a table with chairs and a sliding door with a screen. We were on the third floor, so we were able to leave it open at night for the fresh air. The one drawback we had is that our truck was too tall for the garage under the hotel, so we needed to park in the back. We didn't mind that, but the one night when we came back the parking lot was full of small cars that could have easily parked in the garage. We wondered if the full parking lot was because of the Mexican food restaurant, which is right next to the hotel? Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this lodging.

My partner and I stayed at Irwin’s for a week of snowboarding. The hotel is absolutely fantastic at the price point. The staff is very welcoming. They have ski / snowboard lockers downstairs and provide locks. It is right next door to one of the free shuttle stops to the SkiBig3 locations. It’s only 10-15 min walking distance to downtown banff. There is a hot tub that we didn’t use, but that was a plus. They don’t have breakfast, but there is a restaurant next door that opens for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Just overall a wonderful stay and recommended for anyone wanting to stay in a centric location.
