I liked our stay at Karakoy Apartments. The location was brilliant for the plans we had in Istanbul, close to main city attractions and historical sites. The gentlemen at the reception were very polite and considerate. Our flight was delayed, and we arrived at the hotel only at 2 AM and we were able to check-in. The reception desk is operating 24 hours. We went for the Deluxe room and it had plenty of space for two people. The room had nice extras, which exceeded our expectations for the price we paid for our stay. There could be some improvements on the shower head, as it looked very "tired". The only con personally for myself was the big/main road with the tram next to the hotel. I'm a light sleeper and it was challenging to fall asleep. Hence why I put 4 out of 5 stars for the location. I would recommend taking earplugs if you are the same "sleeping" type of person as I am. The hotel felt safe, and after reading some of the reviews concerning the security of the hotel, I couldn't confirm the fact. We were able to twist the lock on the entrance door, and no one tried to open the door while we were there. We had a safe in the room where we could leave our valuables, it was easy to use it too. There were no ironing facilities supplied in the room, and I'm not sure if the hotel does provide any, as I'm always traveling with my steamer. Thanks to all the hotel personnel for our nice stay.

Beautifully and thoughtfully designed room. Spa downstairs is great. Location is excellent--near ferries and a nice neighborhood with great restaurants. Even with the great location, it was very quiet. Front desk staff is very helpful. Would definitely come back.

I had a really lovely experience staying here. I stayed here for 6 nights and the staff were so accommodating especially Ugur. Helped us in every way possible. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the loca Ion is great, just a few minutes walk from galata tower. Definitely will be back!

I had a very very bad experience, the room they given me had a BROKEN Air Conditioning I asked them to fix it they said the maintenance service don’t work now. I asked to change the room they said we don’t have rooms available! I asked for my money back they said we can’t give you money!!! And they easily said “SLEEP WITHOUT AIR CONDITIONING AND OPEN THE WINDOW”
