A beautiful brand new hotel in Frankton. We really enjoyed our stay here. Everything has been thought of - the amenities and toiletries in the room were excellent. Really comfy beds. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a Remarkable view room and that was a lovely corner room. Shower has great water pressure. A couple of things to note - firstly, this hotel isn’t in Queenstown CBD, it’s in an area right near the airport. It’s actually in a shopping village. But there is a direct bus that leaves to go to the city, so it’s not too much trouble. There’s also some nice cafes and restaurants in the shopping area. Secondly, there is a bit of noise from the road/airport. But it quietened down at night and we had no issues sleeping. In fact it’s the best sleep I’ve had in a long time!

Great location with lots of restaurants nearby. Please note that this hotel is not close to the city. Large and clean room. Bolted down safe to store valuables. The only complaint is there's no microwave.

Friendly staff, big rooms and big beds. But the mattress was too soft for me, the shower didn’t work properly (rather too hot or a weak stream of cold water - took ages to find the right temperature), breakfast was rather limited and we had to pay to get a normal coffee (the drink they serve in a thermos for free can barely be named a coffee). If you stay in a 4 star hotel and already pay quite enough for the room, those “little” inconveniences don’t add to the experience. All of those questions are rather to the management. The personnel was always helpful.

After a terrible experience at another nearby international brand hotel, we made a late night booking to the Sudima. This hotel was clean, modern, comfortable and conveniently located, compared to the horror before. The location provides significant convenience being located within walking distance of many shops, restaurants and facilities. Parking is a breeze in the large shopping centre carpark. The room was serviced daily and left clean as a whistle. I'd highly recommend staying here again, and for Queenstown, it was very affordable. Only 10 minute drive to the middle of Queenstown, or there also appeared to be a public bus out the front. The restaurant was also good and reasonably priced.
