We stayed two nights in a canal view room. The Locanda La Corte exceeded expectations. If we are fortunate to return to Venice we would not hesitate to return to this hotel. The room was clean, quiet, and convenient. The staff was exceptionally helpful and pleasant. The first night we were so tired we decided that the easiest choice was to dine in the hotel restaurant. We had an outstanding meal! The complimentary breakfast in the pretty courtyard was also very good. We were pleased to have choices geared to Americans like scrambled eggs. A very pleasant stay and we loved the view!

Close to everything. For from the hustle and bustle. A great little place to stay on a quiet calle. We had a courtyard view and that was fine. Not a far walk from the vapretto stop at Ospedale, and it has a watergate if you are taking a water taxi. 10ish min walk to San Marco. But the walks in Venice always take longer. The best thing is, it is easy to find your way back. Just follow the signs for the hospital. The breakfast is lovely. Rooms may have a tight spot or 2 depending on how the bathroom is oriented. Also if you are a bigger person the shower might be tight. It was like taking a shower in a phone booth. But really if that is the only flaw. No big deal really. The Aqua Alta book store is like 2 min away, we found it by accident. And one of the most photographed spots in Venice is right outside. So if you are looking for a comfy bed, a quiet room, a possable canal view, a James Bond entrance via a watergate, a good breakfast at a reasonable rate...and minimal bridges to cross from the vapretto stop...this is your place.

Brilliant location and accommodation overall. View from canal side was superb and only a short 10min to Rialto bridge and other sightseeing spots. Got the ferry to and from ospedale ferry wharf, also an easy 10 min (essential to use Google maps..). Front desk staff were brilliant being very welcoming and highly knowledgeable. Rooms are with aircon although quite dated and have small shower cubicles. Don’t drop the soap. Highly recommended overall and has good restaurant onsite for breakfast ( excellent coffee) and dinner.

If I had to describe the Locanda La Corte in one word it would be Perfection! And even that is not a good enough word the do this wonderful hotel justice, My wife and I stayed here for 10 nights to celebrate a land mark wedding anniversary, We could not have picked better if we had tried, from the arrival by water taxi (not arranged by the hotel, though I am sure they would) we were greeted by by the owner Rami and the manager Andrea, who made us feel immediately at home whilst showing round the hotel and then taking us to our fabulous room (we had a canal view in the deluxe double room) The hotel is situated with in walking distance of St Marks the Rialto Bridge and many other attractions including a fabulous book shop round the corner. every day we were treated like royalty be it by either John or Mar on Reception, Svetta, Georgio and Silvio in the restaurant both morning and evening times the court yard came alive of an evening thanks to the superb live music provided by Frederico and Massimo who most night were accompanied by Rami (truly the host with the most !!) the food was to die for everything we had there was top notch. the room and hotel was kept beautiful by Rossella. It really was the best holiday we have ever had and we will return some day. infact the worst moment was when we came to leave it broke my heart I could have stayed for ever

Service was very good especially want to highlight The receptionist desk with both gentleman working the morning shift and evening! They were extremely helpful for giving a tour, providing any help we needed, giving directions, and giving us a little breakfast to go since our taxi was leaving right before breakfast! I don’t know their names, but they were fantastic. Rooms were tidy, the housekeeping service was excellent, and location was stunning with a canal view right out the window. The breakfast service crew was very nice with a great selection, and it did not go unnoticed. Highly recommend any new travelers to stay here for all reasons above!
