We had a wonderful 3 night stay here. Rooms are spacious and quiet and the staff are so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was also great and I really like that you have to take off and store your shoes at the lobby (each room has its own spot) and wear slippers inside the hotel

Absolutely wonderful hotel with incredibly kind and attentive staff. The rooms were very nice and the vibes here are impeccable. Art on all of the walls, ornamental furniture in the rooms and in the lobby, and a central courtyard with a super relaxing fountain surrounded by drapes of vines. The extra cherry on top is the breakfast, which is included, being a sit down and order from a menu style breakfast. All of the items we got were amazing. Like way better than you would ever expect. The noodle soup and the herbal spare rib soup were stand outs, super flavorful with very tender and well cooked meats. The breakfast here has a lot of intention put into it, it is not a throwaway add on. Best hotel I’ve stayed at across thailand.

Cannot recommend this hotel enough! Boutique hotel in the heart of the old city, conveniently located within walking distance of many attractions. Rooms are on the smaller side, but very comfortable. Staff at this hotel are just absolutely amazing! They go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and will help with any booking needs for excursions/motorbike rentals etc. Breakfast is also wonderful, with many choices - the lady who manages the breakfast in the morning is a true delight. Would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay within the old city.

Makkachiva was the top hotel during our stay in Thailand, offering a truly unique experience. The level of detail in the hotel's design and ambiance sets it apart. The beds were exceptionally clean and comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep, and the rooms were beautifully appointed, combining modern amenities with a cozy, boutique feel. The hotel's boutique nature really takes the experience over the top. It's evident in every aspect, from the meticulously designed rooms to the charming common areas. The lobby and entrance are particularly delightful, adorned with lovely plants that create a serene and welcoming atmosphere. Another major plus is the hotel's central location, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. The convenience of being centrally located added greatly to our overall experience. We absolutely loved our stay at Makkachiva and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a unique, comfortable, and centrally located accommodation in Thailand.
