We recently spent the weekend at the Mandarin Oriental, and it exceeded our expectations. I was pretty unfamiliar with this hotel chain, so really didn’t know what to expect, but everything about our stay was wonderful. The only problem I experienced at any point was some issues with booking the hotel early on. I’m glad that I stuck with it though, because our entire stay was excellent. We reserved the premier king bedroom, and were surprised to find it was much bigger than expected with a large oversized tub and shower in the bathroom. The weekend we were there was very cold in Boston, so it was nice that the hotel is connected to the Prudential Center mall which gave us options for dining and shopping without having to go outside all the time. There are also several great restaurants all around this neighborhood, making it easy to step out for a nice meal without having to trudge through the weather for long.

I had the best spa day ever last month, and I have been to many spas worldwide. I cannot wait to return. Everything from the 5 star facilities, superb and friendly front desk, massage therapists, steam room, wellness pool and luxurious rooms, was absolutely breath taking. Will be a repeat customer for the near future.

It was great! From the welcome tea, to the comfortable room with so many amenities. The spa was great and the massage therapist amazing! They accommodated a late check out for us which was very helpful. Also the restaurant is so convenient and have really good food. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Absolute PERFECTION on EVERY level - from check-in to the departure, the staff here performed flawlessly. Room was very spacious and expertly appointed with beautiful AND functional furnishings. The room view over Boylston Street was a constant and pleasant reminder of where we were - BOSTON. Without the view, you could easily forget that. King size bed was super-comfortable with fine linens; towels and robes were high quality and the slippers WERE appreciated. The DEEP soaking tub in the bathroom and the separate rainfall shower VERY enjoyable. The included bathroom amenities were a set of toothbrushes and toothpaste, Q-tips, etc and WERE needed and utilized. Didn’t use the bathroom scale, but it was nice seeing it provided. Then there’s the mini-bar and coffee station - had EVERYTHING, including a Nespresso machine…no creamer, but one phone call and five minutes later had a complimentary pitcher of fresh cream delivered. AND the SERVICE - didn’t use the Movy service robot, but the humans did an AMAZING job. Slippers were placed on a towel, bedside, each evening along with a bedside chocolate and fresh bottle of Saratoga bottled water for EACH side of the bed. The staff even noticed my reading glasses and placed a cleaning cloth next to them, just in case…that was unexpected AND appreciated. And the SPA - at no additional charge, access to the spa includes one of the best essential oil steam rooms I’ve ever been in; and a warm pool with jets to massage aching muscles; and a relaxation room with infused water and fresh fruit.
