A great place to chill, nice surroundings, and decent food. Found ourselves enjoying these surroundings to celebrate a birthday, what an unexpected find! Felt like we were on cruise ship, watching people in the pool! Nice food, served promptly. Drinks also a great range. Particularly liked the glassware.. well, it was plastic (presumably so it's safe around the pool) but looked just like super classy glassware!

Great Service from the Concierge desk and the bar staff were fantastic and friendly. The pool is fabulous and the perfect temperature. The room had an absolutely wonderful view, the beds were very comfortable and the aircon was very good. The rooms could use a little updating to appear a little more modern but they were still presented well and were clean and tidy. For the price point this hotel was great value.

This is the worst Mantra Hotel in Australia. Rooms are dated and furniture is old and rundown. Room had no towels in the bathroom or blankets on the beds. Bathroom gets soaked after a shower. Had to get new towels several times. The pool area stunk of used cooking oil. The spa is the smallest in the gold coast. You have to walk through the main lobby to get to the pool, such a bad setup. Provided feedback to the hotel and the response was why didn't you let management know. We rang reception several times. Will not be returning.

The location of this hotel is convenient. The tram service is a short 3 minute walk away and the beach is right beside - 2 minute walk. Shops are also a short walk away. The rooms are decent. It is spacious. However the toilet floor can be slippery. Minor inconvenience due to awkward placement of the toilet roll dispenser. Queen bed is a single bed combined into one so there might be an awkward gap in between. Room is a little dusty. I liked that there were kitchen utensils provided including a dishwasher and an oven. It was unfortunate that the bar closed earlier than its stipulated time as we wanted to redeem our welcome drink for accor members.

The standout of my stay at Mantra was the staff, Saxon specifically. Friendly, accomodating, helpful. An all round top guy. Deserves a raise. The location was fantastic, the rooms were nice. Good view (ocean view room). Good soundproofing. Good facilities. The only negatives were the 2 different quality mattresses (pushed together in a king) coupled with the same scratchy and dusty blanket your nan would pull out from the depths of the linen cupboard when you slept over cause your parents went out for the night. 8/10. Would stay here again to say hey to Saxon.
