Stayed here for a week and had a pleasant time. The staff is very friendly and the service is great. Kai at the reception was awesome. The rooms are nice and big, there's a mirror outside and inside the bathroom which is nice. The AC works great and the water in the shower is nice and hot. The only issues were that there was nowhere to hang stuff in the bathroom and there was very little counter space in there. The walls of the room are thin and you can hear other people if they are loud. Also the beds are on wheels and they move easily. There's only one outlet at the bed all the way on the side. The pool isn't very big and there's not many pool beds. Overall it was a good stay if you're not too picky.

The place is ok, but too close to the road, so it’s too noisy. In the day it’s quiet, but at night there’s a lot of cars and party goers passing by.

I'm a little shocked by the reviews and people knocking this place. Maybe some people don't know what to expect in Chiang Mai. If you wanted the nicest most modern hotel, you aren't going to get it for this price. If you paid a little less, then you'd get a smaller room and/or a smaller bathroom. If you paid more, you'd get more. Anyways, Chiang Mai is not a place where you want to spend all your time in the hotel room. The city itself is a very relaxing place and you will probably not spend much time at the hotel. This place was fantastic for the price. Great location, large rooms for all our luggage, a big bathroom. They would clean every day and bring you more water if you want. And it has an elevator - which we really appreciated since we had a ton of luggage. The staff was perfectly helpful but I think people misunderstand "not friendly" and "is not fluent in English" ... We had one issue where we thought we lost the key so I used Google translate to fill in our communication gaps. I think this is a fantastic place, I would gladly stay again.
