Mithra Cave Hotel - Special Class

During our recent stay at Mithra Cave Hotel, we encountered an unfortunate incident that overshadowed an otherwise enjoyable experience. While we initially chose the hotel based on its positive reputation and glowing reviews, a particular incident during check-out left a lasting negative impression. As we were leaving our room, my friend attempted to tip the employee who had assisted us with our luggage. However, the situation took an unexpected turn. After offering a 5 TRY note as a gratuity, my friend intended to provide an additional tip with a 100 TRY note. Shockingly, the hotel employee tore the note and disposed of it, claiming, "we smoke with this" before my friend could complete the transaction. This unexpected and disappointing behavior marred our overall perception of the hotel. Having opted for the most expensive room in anticipation of a memorable and delightful experience, the check-out process became a crucial moment that left a negative memory. The behavior of this particular employee significantly impacted our impression of Mithra Cave Hotel. While we do not expect a specific remedy, we believe it is important to bring this incident to the hotel's attention with the hope that appropriate measures will be taken to prevent such situations in the future. The check-out process is a critical interaction for guests, and unpleasant experiences during this time can have a lasting impact on the hotel's reputation. This marks our second visit to Turkey, and we have never encountered a similar issue at any other hotel in the past. Experiencing such behavior at Mithra Cave Hotel was disappointing and not in line with the high standards the hotel is known for. We trust that the hotel management will address this matter appropriately and uphold the reputation it has worked hard to establish.
