Hidden hotel with poor wifi... But quite at night. Good staycation for expats. Bit hard to find because no visible of the hotel's sign.

Slightly run down, family run Hotel. Great price, Free Internet was a bit slow, Free Breakfast-Standard menu and American on request. Although I would only give the facility three stars, i would give the manager and her staff 100 stars. She provided anything and everything we needed. (speaks engligh also) Hotel Tuk-Tuk took us all over town (Free/Donation to Driver). Excellent hospitality. Small store in hotel with all necessary items. I would probably stay there again if i go back to PP.

Lovely little family run hotel away from the busy streets of the city. Pros: Staff are lovely and very friendly and helpful with good English. The manager even went out of her way to get me a cake and rose for my girlfriends birthday to have at breakfast! Rooms are big, modern and comfy. Bathrooms are very nice. Breakfast is good. WiFi signal is very good. TV has English movie channels. Cons: No hot water for the shower. Gets only slightly warm at best. The BIGGEST problem here are the 5 or 6 roosters and cockerels that are right next door to the hotel rooms! They are so noisy and cry out all night long. We had to change rooms on the first night as they were right outside our window. Every morning at 4am without fail they woke us up and one night it was at 12.30am, 2am, 3.30am and then 4.30AM and that is with ear plugs in. This is not the fault of the hotel at all but still disturbs tour sleep every night.

The hotel itself was fine. It was very clean, shower was nice and bed okay. There is a side courtyard that is cute. The people who run it are very nice and accommodating. The little convenience store is reasonable. I paid $.16 for a huge water bottle. We were picked up at the airport in a tuk tuk. It took about an hour to get to the hotel! When we pulled on to the street I was hoping the driver was just going to pass through the neighborhood. It is quite poor and if you are foreign you will stick out like a sore thumb. I should have done more research on the area.

Hotel is very clean, all staff is extremely polite and ready to help. Room is very big with real hot water, excellent bed, balcony a quick market attached to the property with very fair prices. Aircon was not so great and there's no good restaurant around, where you should take a tuktuk or Uber that will cost $2/$4 each way to go to restaurant area or take your chances with local food that is really close to the hotel.
