This hotel was a great stay! The service is incredible. The hotel room bathroom and sheets were a bit dirty when we first arrived but after telling the front desk they immediately had someone come and refresh the room. We had a last minute booking so still super impressed with how they were able to accommodate us so well. The location is also perfect. It is right on the corner of the chaing mai night bazaar. Lots of great food and halal food walking distance near by. Would definitely stay here again.

Movenpick I stayed here for three nights. I chose this hotel because of its location, and it did not fail me. The lobby was roomy. I saw the cafe, and I think it is pretty dated. When I checked in, I was informed that I was upgraded to a suite - what a way to start my vacation. No one assisted me to my room, so yeah. When I entered the room, the interior looked like it was built around the late 90’s. But the bed and the bathroom were very nice. The bed is plush, and the pillows were nice. The bathroom is roomy but dated. The tiles were blue - honestly, I wouldn't say I liked the bathroom's colour. Overall, I like it for the bed and the huge space I have. For breakfast, they have a lot of choices. From local breakfast to western to eastern - name it, you’ll get it. The cafe looks dated, but I don’t mind. The servers were attentive, which I liked. In conclusion, I find this hotel simple yet has character. I hope they will improve the facilities and amenities of the hotel soon before it is too late. I will recommend this hotel to my friends and those who like to be where the action is in Chiang Mai. A hidden gem, I would say.

Great location! Great, personalised service from all hotel staff ! good base & pickup for all day trips in Chiangmai ! Decorated in traditional Lanna Thai style. Varied choices at breakfast buffet table !

I wish l could rate the staff separately --- they were truly amazing. The staff was consistently friendly and helpful. The hotel, on the other hand is woefully in need of serious investment and renovation. It is obvious when entering the property that the management/ownership is only willing to spend money where it can be seen. The lobby and restaurants are immaculate but behind the scenes, another reality is found. Water leaks, black mold and bare drywall patches can be found in hallways and guest rooms. The hallways in the B and C zones on the 7th floor are covered with temporary repairs to the carpet and drywall. My room stunk of musty, damp air and it wasn't clean by any stretch of the imagination. Rusty stains and black mold in the shower, nasty stained caulk and grout in the bathroom and best of all, whenever the a/c came on, all of the lights in the room would blink like a strobe light. And to top it all off, my last night at the hotel, it lost power for about an hour, finally coming back on after 1 a.m. The ownership of this hotel needs to take serious steps to address the multitude of issues here and actually do something about it, instead of putting the stress of dealing with everything to their over worked staff.

Location is really good. Have stayed here a few times whenever I come to Chiang Mai. The night market is right beside this hotel. There is a Starbucks below the hotel. A MacDonalds just right across the street. A 24hrs 7-11 store just a two minutes walk. Takes you about 6-8 minutes walk to the bars if ever you are looking for some night entertainment but yet the hotel is far away enough to have some peace and quiet. Room is spacious and comfortable. Though some of the furnitures inside the room could use some varnishing work. The lifts work fast. Small pool but clean. Breakfast simple and good. Service from the staffs are efficient and accommodating to request.
