Do not stay at this hotel !!! I actually don't know where to begin. Being British I am genuinely one not to complain but this place is appalling. In brief... main front door got stuck, we could not get out. Had there been a fire we had no other exit. All windows have metal bars on them. The other exit is through Reception, which is locked at 6pm. Staff not interested. We waited 45 mins for someone to come. Carlos was rude and told us it was not his problem if there was a fire. We had Room 1, damp, airless, windowless room, tiny, nowhere to unpack. We were moved after complaining to room 6. No decent tea/coffee facilities at the hotel. None in the rooms. A few tea bags put out in the morning at 10am, no coffee, asked if there would be some later in the week, answer, no! Water dispenser ran out. No fresh water till morning. Sun terrace opens at 10, closes at 6pm. No cushions on chairs so not worth sitting out. This hotel does not resemble any of the pictures on its website or booking dot com. We have informed booking dot com about the fire exits as this is genuinely dangerous if the front door fails again. Booking dot com gave us 36 euros as a gesture of goodwill for all the trouble we've had. The hotel not in the slightest bit interested. The shower leaks badly, so you need to use your towels to soak up the water on the floor. Ants in the room. Hotel did get rid of these. We are well travelled people and at £50 a night, this does not command this figure. We wanted basic, however this is a disgrace and the lack of fire exits did not make for a restful stay. We booked this hotel based on the photographs and reviews. Neither came close or lived up to the reality. On the plus, there are some nice restaurants to eat at near the hotel, but then again there are lots of superb restaurants all over Seville.

After booking the room, I didn't receive any further information. The week before arrival, I tried reaching out to them. Couldn't get a hold of anyone till the night before. To be told I needed to download an app to check-in. Following the steps and five calls later I still didn't have any information on how to get into the place or my room number. When I arrived at the hostel, I rang the number out front (It was 2:30am). The guy who picked up didn't speak any English. He then send me an aggressive text message. After some messages back and forth, I finally managed to find my room and go to bed after a very long travel. The next day, I could tell I wasn't the only one who was lost. I saw other people arrive who didn't have any clue of where to go. The reception says it opens at 9am which it doesn't, it only opens at 11am. Lots of problems in communication here. Room overall was okay, location is brilliant. Don't expect any breakfast, water, tea or coffee. Luckily everything is close by, so you can go to shops fairly easy.

This was a decent place to stay while visiting Seville. The room was clean, a good size, and the location on the Alameda was bustling. It’s about a 20-minute walk to the city centre. Check in was easy as it’s all done digitally, but if you don’t have access to data, be sure to check in advance in case reception is closed when you arrive. The bed was comfortable (I was in room 7) and the shower was hot/great water pressure. The terrace has also been updated/renovated and is really beautiful. In terms of what I didn’t like as much: the room was very noisy. I couldn’t hear any of the other guests in the building, but the cars and people on the street could be heard very clearly. If you are sensitive to sound when trying to sleep, this should be a deal breaker. Next, the shower doors don’t stop water from escaping so the bathroom floor would flood each time I had a shower. I had to use all of the spare towels to dry it up. Lastly, the windows had been left open prior to my arrival, so there were some flies and mosquitos in the room during my entire stay.
