This was one of the worst experiences I've had, both at a Selina and at a hostel in general. Despite booking the same room for a two-night stay, I was assigned two different dorms. Seeing that more than a few other people were in the same situation and that the staff was following management orders, I reluctantly accepted. Before 9 am the next day, someone approached my bed, claiming the next bed was ready and demanding I change rooms immediately. Upon moving to the new room, I found the bed was still dirty and not fresh. I informed the receptionist, who suggested I clear my current bed and wait until the new one was available at 3 pm. I agreed to move only when the new bed was ready, which happened around 1 pm—four hours after the receptionist initially requested I move. Unfortunately, that was not the only downside. The rooms are hot, the Wi-Fi doesn't reach everywhere, and the bathrooms are only cleaned once a day (even for fully occupied dorms). I'm extremely disappointed with the overall experience.

It's a very DARK and run down place. The photos looked so nice, but reality was completely different. A few things I did not like: * disgusting air quality inside the bar/restaurant area. * Co-working costs extra so looots of people hang around the unfortunately very few! common areas the whole day. * like just said, there are only very few common areas for such a huge hostel. * the dorms have en-suite bathrooms (1 toilet & 2 showers) and there are no other shared bathrooms, just one toilet next to the kitchen. That's pretty unacceptable. We stayed in a 12-bed dorm, so it got very busy in the morning and people were lining up 🫣 another major negative aspect is that the en-suite bathroom is not separated with a door. So as soon as someone uses it you will wake up, no matter if it's late at night or early in the morning. * the whole hostel really feels like a cavern, it is so dark everywhere. * it's dirty, the bathrooms, the kitchen and the kitchen drawers are filthy... Absolutely overrated and by far not worth the money.

Good location on quiet street very close to a supermarket and cafes. Beds are ok, but dorm is hot - no AC, no fan. 3 toilets per floor for dorm, cleaners keep it tidy. They’re busy most of the time, can be quite slow to service. Never been able to get a hair dryer on several occasions, was told to search for it on different toilets. Lift access is usually a problem as the door sensors are poor, wait time can be long.
