The room was seriously huge, warm, all tidy and modern, with proper posh vibes. We booked 2 rooms for 5 people on last Xmas holiday. A double room could accommodate 4 people because of the big sofa bed. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Breakfast was fantastic, with loads of different food options. Excellent location too - right on the main street and next to the tram stop, quiet area. A great choice for families, especially if you are travelling with someone who gets tired easily or is elderly

Located right next to a tram stop so easy to get around. Room was large as was the bed, though the pillows could have been much better. Food at the restaurant was good, breakfast very expensive though!

The room was nice, but the staff members were extremely rude, particularly the bald male at the front desk. Although we had already made a payment in advance, he asked for additional funds. After we explained the situation, he acknowledged his mistake but was reluctant to apologize or express gratitude.

The hotel was newly refurbished, but honestly, it makes an impression of needing another one soon. Like some other hotels in Bern, it can allow to look like that, it will still be booked because of the good location and demand. Personnel is really friendly. It lifts the mood greatly. The breakfast is very good, but for almost 30 CHF per capita, it should rather be.
