I stayed here for 3 nights and it is a safe location, reasonable price. Room is clean and spacious. Receptionists are lovely. Piter helped me so much with local information. They let me leave my luggage in the storage while I go to cali for 3 days. Breakfast is not that good but still I liked staying here.

Knowing Colombians to be very friendly and kind people, I was taken aback by the rather disengaged ways the staff interacted with us. The place also needs a little bit of TLC and updating of its basic infrastructure. After many failed attempts to resolve a simple flushing issue with the toilet (and the maintenance staff wrongly claiming that the problem had been "fixed'), we were moved to a different room (where the toilet did work, but flushed sloooooowly as molasses!)

Whenever I travel globally and visit a new city for the first time, I always choose to stay at Novotel hotels due to the consistent quality and service I've come to expect. However, my experience at this particular location was somewhat disappointing. On the positive side, the room was clean, the night staff was friendly, and the hotel is situated in a safe, walkable area. However, there were a few negatives that marred my stay. Firstly, the day staff was unprofessional. When I approached the front desk for assistance, the attendants seemed more interested in their conversation than in helping me. In particular, Camilo and two young ladies were quite dismissive, making me feel as though I was intruding on their conversation. Secondly, I had a late check-in and was informed that there would be no water supply from 9pm to 3am. This meant I couldn't shower until the next morning. To add to that, my shower and sink were filled with dirty water. Lastly, a package was delivered for me and the front desk staff failed to notify me about its arrival. While I understand that the water issue might have been beyond their control, the lack of professionalism was disappointing. This experience did not meet the usual standards of a Novotel hotel. I hope this was just an unfortunate anomaly and not a reflection of their usual service.

Novotel Bogota Parque 93 is an excellent choice. The location is prime, very safe and near high end restaurants and entertainment. Rooms are well maintained and clean. Restaurant serves excellent food and service is personalized. Service personnel is well trained and very courteous. Specifically the restaurant Captain Jhon Jairo, who was always attentive and making sure all service and food was at its best. I really recommend Novotel Bogota Parque 93 for vacation or business trips. Thank you for all the good service!

In summary, I believe this hotel has the potential to be competitive with others in the surrounding area, but there is untapped potential. For instance, the terrace boasts breathtaking views, but there isn't much to entice guests to sit there. I would suggest relocating the bar to the terrace and having Raul oversee it, which would undoubtedly make it a more enjoyable and inviting space.
