Review for restaurant only as we stayed elsewhere. Service was great. Gluten free options not listed in the main menu but there is a separate allergen menu that's available. They tried to make a little appetizer with gluten free bread which we appreciated the effort. Pitcher of sangria was good too.

Great service and good food. The location is also good. But for me to stay again, I'd have to have a bigger room as there was no place to even open up luggage unless it was on the bed. Also, no way to unpack as there were no shelves or drawers. The other major issue was the shower. You enter the shower from the bedroom (not the bathroom). In fact there is a WC only. Then you have both the sink and the shower stall actually in the bedroom. Can be quite awkward!

Warm welcome. Helpful staff. We were facing the courtyard, quiet surrounding. Historical building super well renovated. Quality linen. Attention to details. Loved the spa . Great location. Recommended.

Amazing experience! Booked a Plaza Mayor superior room. Little did we know that we would be staying through three nights of Hispanidad 2023 - there was a concert outside of our room every night! We enjoyed listening to the concerts (they ended reasonably around 11pm) from our balcony. I was very impressed with the soundproofing for these rooms - you could hear distant noise of people outside but it was in no way an issue. As the thousands of people left the concert each night, we closed the doors and drapes and went right to sleep without issue. Make sure you close the doors correctly for maximum soundproofing. If you’re a super light sleeper, bring ear plugs and you should be fine. Room was functional for the space and the bed was comfortable. Only areas for improvement: Carpet showed some stains and towels were very thin. We had dinner and lunch in the hotel restaurant, which was good, and used our 20 percent off coupon for dinner. Did not check out the pool or rooftop as it closed early (7pm) and we were enjoying our room too much. Highly recommend staying here! It was worth the price for the experience and views (even without Hispanidad this would have been great!).
