I stayed at this hotel for 7 nights to celebrate my birthday. Upon arrival I was surprised to find a sweet treat in my room as a warm birthday welcome. The central location was convenient with shops and restaurants at walking distance. The hotel provided all the necessary amenities and the rooms were clean and comfortable. Farooq went above and beyond to make our stay memorable, answered any questions we had and gave us tips of where to eat and where to go to see the northern lights. However, the breakfast could be more diverse. Despite this, our overall stay was delightful.

great stay in Reykjavik. I stayed 4 nights over Christmas. clean and welcoming hotel, very good breakfast and excellent staff. Unfortunately I don't remember the names of the boy who welcomed us on the first evening and gave a lot of suggestions, and the very kind girl who made us find pastries in the room for my mother's birthday. If we return to Iceland we will definitely stay with you.

Pleasant and very central small hotel. Receptionist Farouk went out of his way to be very helpful throughout our stay and deserves special mention. Avoid rooms opposite the Irish Bar though if you plan on early nights. Otherwise comfortable room and Basic breakfast.
