Good points, spacious room with comfortable beds, very clean on arrival and breakfast was a decent array of an Icelandic take on a continental breakfast. The less good points the bathroom was on the smaller side, the breakfast is good providing you get there first, otherwise it can get sparse quickly and dinner is not an option. On balance a great B & B or an above par hotel, perspective is key.

It was a very nice and clean room. The people who worked in the hotel are very nice and if you needed help they will help you with your problem 😀 The breakfast was very delicious and the location of the bus is near the busstop/ downtown ...

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Leifur Eiriksson! The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, the rooms and common areas were very comfortable and clean, the drinks at the bar and breakfast were tasty, and the location was perfect. Being right across from the big church was beautiful and made it so easy to go out exploring and always be able to find our way back. The hotel is just a minute walk to a convenient bus stop where all the tour buses pick up and the area around the hotel has tons of cute shops and delicious restaurants. The rooms are a bit small by American standards, but I felt they were still very comfortable and would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A decent place close to the city centre of Reykjavik. Convenient location that is a 10-minute walk to the bus terminal that gets you to the airport and allows you to explore the town on foot. The staff were friendly, flexible with the breakfast time and very helpful. Good breakfast with a fair selection of food. Overall, the shared areas and rooms were clean. Four stars for the rooms as they were a bit small (and this made it a bit challenging to move around with the suitcases wide open) and they didn’t offer a kettle for drinks (which, however, were available at the lobby on the ground floor). Would visit again!
